I recall last seasons home game against Blyth. A lot of us expected a big win, but they were well organised and dogged and it took a very late Liddle volley to beat them.

Gray can only be effective managing a big fish in a little pond, and when he can out spend his rivals. I remember his bucket rattling comments after he pissed off to York. He’s not the answer.

Why wasn't I invited? It's typical of this club not to keep me informed of these developments.

1 nil Griffiths. The keeper will be kicking himself. Griffiths did well to keep the ball down but looked like he sliced it a bit. Keeper got his hand to it but took all the pace off it and it just dropped in.

Very uneventful so far.

What do I know? Strikers are overrated.
