Re: DFC Voted for League to be Null & Void
I've had a look at the fixtures this Saturday, then matched them up to what clubs have being saying in their statements about playing, or rather not playing. I'm not claiming to be bang on here but out of 11 fixtures it seems to me that only 3 have a chance of going ahead. And these are; Gloucester...

Just starting to look stupid. They are in this ‘tin pot’ league as they were shyte for a season in the conference been the same trying to get out of it for several years!!darlo_baron wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 12:08 pmThey've gone from against modern football banners to taking on loans at all costs in under a decade. Re: David Johnson : We are in a sad position
As usual a great interview from Ray Simpson with David Johnson to keep us as owners of the club in the picture regarding the 2 week suspension & the chances of the season continuing. Nothing to reveal that we didn't really know but good to hear the clarification from DJ. Again DJ was very frank & o...

Re: Season at risk of finishing early
Very strange match day tomorrow on the NL Prem. Very strange - especially as most clubs in the National League were in favour of this option. https://mobile.twitter.com/jimcgreen/status/1352730041495543811 Great overview from the Chester point of view and where we are at now. Loans fully off the ta...

Re: Season at risk of finishing early
Perhaps one of the things we can do as individual fans is lobby our MP to support DJ and raise with HMG the question of funding towards the rest of the season without fans, in order to comply with HMG's Covid restrictions? Certainly worth a try as our local MP should have the ear of the government,...

According to the DFC statement, option 2 has interest on it too And both option 1 and 2 are unsuitable for us https://darlingtonfc.co.uk/news/winter-survival-package-darlington-fc-statement That is now how it has been reported elsewhere. A cut in funding does not have an interest rate. Not sure tha...

Re: Season at risk of finishing early
I’d love to say I can’t believe we’re in this situation. But as you say the national league have been inept from the start. How can directors at these clubs take loans with no idea when they will have the income to pay them back? It’s the definition of trading insolvent. Where will the money be com...

Re: Home Kit Vote
This is a clear attempt at stacking the vote to get the result the club wants. We know the club management want a move away from hoops to get money from sales, but the younger fans see hoops as the identity. So they put in a terrible hoops option and limit it to YOURCLUB members (who are likely to ...

Re: Home Kit Vote
I normally sort of go, ah, it's just a kit, I'll wear whatever, but honestly if option 2 is chosen I will stop supporting darlo for good and demand the club reimburse me for all previous money spent. What an abomination. All four are horrific- they must have shown options when tendering for the con...

Re: Away to Bristol rovers
Got to question the selection above form ???? Is there any point. Chances of it making a difference are slim. The odds were they would comfortably beat us. You think then Atkinson better in that position than Laing or Storey? Nope. Believing someone else could have played is different to "questioni...

Atkinson at CB if Wheatley is fit surely If that is the choice then the question must be asked, what is Laing's purpose? He is a specific centre back and if he is not going to play there when we have an injury to one of our regular partnership, then when is he? I would go with Laing. If AA goes wit...

Raj is not a pool fan nor was he a Darlo fan understand that first, he is a businessman interested in making money, someone who complained about beds being empty in his care homes and losing 10K a week because the old buggers were dying and he wasn't getting replacements. No empathy or care for tho...
