Re: Wright has left the building

Firstly, this is the right decision. However I take no pleasure that a decent guy has got the push. TW is a decent bloke, a nice guy with his heart in the right place,a professional personality, correct behavior and a desire to do well. He has put as much effort in as anyone can ask and has done som...

Re: Favourite game + season grading

Best Game: Darlo 5 v York 1.

Grading: U as in unclassified. We were awful but at least turned up for the exam. We were not bad enough to go down which would have led to a FAIL grade!

Re: FANS NETCAFE -this Friday evening.

Read through the netcafe stuff on the train. Some good answers particularly about the amount of money the rugby club are extracting! They must be laughing thier funny shaped balls off! However the political answers about tw contract is piss boiling. I dont want to know his home adress, wage, nationa...

Re: Statement from the board

it is a timely statement, however it doesn't address the key issue. If only getting behind the lads was enough. No amount of supporting the team will overcome the obvious problems with the squad or the short comings of the manager. No amount of backing can prevent the kind of embarrassing collapse w...

Re: Hereford v Darlington Match Thread

Tell you what, i'm seething watching these highlights. Goal 1 is completely preventable. Completely lapse defending. Terrible marking, no one on the line. Goal 2, what is the keeper doing!? Not only the terrible clearance which leaves us under the cosh, but then also he should probably save the scu...

Re: Hereford v Darlington Match Thread

We need an animal in midfield I feel, someone to lead and to break up play and give to the likes of Nicholson, there must be someone around surely? The club needs to be challenging for a play off spot each season, if not floating support will just not bother and if we can lose to a poor team like He...

Re: Hereford v Darlington Match Thread

I was there yesterday. First half closed with us in total control at 2-0 up. We come out for the second half and make a mediocre side look superb. What on earth does Wright tell them at half time? We stopped doing everything we did well in the first half and just seemed to sit back deeper and deeper...

Re: Relegation Watch

I hope you are right! The good news is that we have games against sides close to us meaning we control our destiny.

The bad news is that we have a manager and team in whom I have absolutely no confidence. The manner of the defeat last night ( like at Chester) really concerns me.

Re: B T B Email

My gripe is seeing how the money we raised for a "competitive" budget has been wasted on a team and a manager who aren't good enough. I am simply not convinced the manager we have can spend our money wisely or that he deserves another chance to do so after the dross he has served up this season. Th...

Re: Telford V Darlington

I don't want to argue ( hence why i changed the original post) but I do think recruitment has been poor. Evidence for the prosecution: Maddison, Burn, Henshall, Aigne and even Hughes (I question the level of "due diligence" done). We cant afford slip ups like this. However the main issue has been t...

Re: Telford V Darlington

What other factors are more important for a football manager than winning games? We are not inconsistent. We are crap. We are crap because the manager has recruited poorly. We are disorganized because the manager hasn't the ability to organised and inspire a team. Our tactics are all over the place...

my view - offered a point at the start of the game i think most would have taken it. Being 1-0 up going into injury time and coming away woith a point is frustrating. The substitutions changed the game but there was no real choice but to make the substitutions. Now, what side and shape is TW going t...

I will be honest enough to admit I am torn over this. I acknowledge all that is said above about it being up to us to fund the club but I simply do not trust the manager to spend the money we give him sensibly. I have concerns over his ability to arrange and motivate a team, his tactical sense and, ...

The first stage is to be able to lead a full life and not be mobility limited, football is a secondary goal to that.

Re: Hartlepool match confirmed at BM

Regardless of the lack of significance of the DCC a match against old rivals is a chance to get a good crowd and bring some much needed cash into the club. Why not treat the match as a fundraiser and make buying a ticket as your donation. You don’t have to actually go to the match if you don’t want...

But it is, there's a uptake in tickets and excitement to face our rivals once again. Just because some people don't care for it as it's the 'county cup', this game has added interest and it'll be a good crowd in for it. We're not facing our rivals. We're facing their youth team with our youth team ...
