Re: Old Feethams site
[quote="saintw"]Wow, Football pitches on the cricket pitch, I didn't know that. This must have been long before my first visit to Feethams in the very early 90s although the pics in colour so can't be that old. Not only football pitches on the cricket pitch but Darlington F.C. playing a league match...

Re: Match Thread
All in all a well-deserved point. In some of our play we looked tired and off the pace. Maybe to be expected with Turnbull, Scott & Gillies not really having much of a pre-season. Good to see some usual rubbish aimed at Jameson & Purewal today. Jameson was at fault for the penalty and maybe the fir...

Re: blackwell meadows work !!
I wont believe it till actually happens, we've had statements like this for about the last 2 years. To be honest I'm dispointed in this news as that means we will never get in the football league. Before anyone jumps in I'm not saying we have any divine right to be a league club and that we would g...

Re: Spennymoor sign former darlington keeper
On paper ? It's on the pitch that counts ! Darlington play as a team. That team being greater than the sum of it's parts. On paper England's galacticos are ranked 11 in the world, but on the pitch play like they should be 189th. If Spennymoor have a stronger team than us, as you believe, they should...

At the fans party night, 3 weeks ago, Richard Cook said work would begin on the pitch in 2 weeks time with the rest following mid June. So we are at most a week behind not a month. No Tempest originally said work would start long before this. As reported in the Echo. If you want to argue about it I...

Its ok, we're only paying for it. No need to keep us updated as deadlines slip by with no comment or update... if not why not? because Spen was part of our legal team and it turns out he's useless If I was part of the DFC legal team I would have ensured that when buying the club it bought the most important asset - the football share You say that as if the people who were involved didn't try to do this. Probably the only thing that would top that would be somehow getting back into League 2 (another legacy of Raj Singh's ownership - what a chairman 5 relegations in two and a half years - takes some beating. So does 3 promotions in 4 years. The club is ours, and we are returning home. Just one thing...

Re: Relegated from Conf National
I think this is a decent level to build off the pitch for a year or two. Get some money in the bank, ground sorted. Training pitches etc. Having several bigger clubs down with us. Will only help the aclimatisation to the conference in long run Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk In that case you'd be...

Of course we could win all three of our remaining games and not be promoted.
Forgotten about our 12 point deduction, currently suspended till end of season.
There could be some unfamiliar faces turning out if further injuries are sustained. Hope their paperwork is in order.

What if we both need a point on Thursday. Whitby to stay up and us for the Championship. Quite possible if Stamford win tonight and Whitby draw, and we match Blyth's result tonight.

Bit of an over reaction. Messi has missed more than 20% of his and still gets to take em. Totally agree, fortunately we have Martin Gray as manager and not Andy Park. Bit harsh on Andy. I rate Galbraith as highly as anyone at the club, but his penalty record is poor. If Hardy had been on the pitch ...

And Hereford F.C ( as they are a phoenix club) are through to the F.A Vase final against Morpeth in their first season as fan owned club.
In the first leg they managed a home crowd of 4800 at Edgar Street.

Nantwich did score a lot of goals at the start of the season, but not since the turn of the year. In seven league games since January they have won just two matches and scored only 9 goals. Recently scored 5 in the Doodson and beat Stourbridge in the cup. Scoring five goals in the Mickey Mouse cup ...

He certainly did handle outside his box, several times. Being stood level with the 18 yard line I had a very good view.loan_star wrote:All this fuss and the SC keeper didnt handle outside his box! He released the ball inside the box and kicked it just outside the box.
