Re: 2 New Signings Today
Hopefully turns out well, I remember one game that was televised where he hit the bar twice in the space of a minute with two long throw ins. Obviously they wouldn’t have counted but hopefully we can utilise them with the return of Hughes You can see the throws from about 0:50 onwards: https://youtu...

Re: Thoughts on Kneeshaw?
How old is Kneeshaw? We do have to plan for the long-term as well as immediate replacement for Harvey. Granted we need someone with scoring ability and experience but think he is in last chance saloon for a professional career. Hopefully, he can raise his attitude to match his skills, only then is ...

Re: League table
I think battle is over stating it for the moment as I don’t think the bottom 3 have that many more points in them this season. Nuneaton have won 3 games all season. They haven’t won for 9 games I am not sure I see them getting more than 5/6 points from their final 14 matches. FC United had a purple...

Re: League table
Starting to be sucked back in ever so slowly, I'd take 19th right now starting to be sucked in? sounds like a TW quote, we are in a relegation battle with a lot of tough games ahead with teams fighting for a playoff place, sooner we realise that and get some bloody wins the better Not denying that,...

Re: Darlington v Bishop Auckland
Kneeshaw could rip this league up if he gets his attitude right. Was impressed with him the short time he was with us, very tricky and good finisher, not sure why Gray let him go but remember him getting a hat trick for Blyth.Hope TW can get him for the remainder of the season. Re: Bradford PA
Always enjoyed our trips to Bradford PA, I hope they've got enough points to stay up, as I can't see them winning many more over the remainder of the season. Only way they’ll go down is if they get a points deduction. No way the tally required to stay up will be higher than last season, and no way ...

Re: Curzon V Darlington
Decent performance and decent point against a side who’ve won 4 in a row prior to playing us. Thought we should’ve had a penalty during the scramble inside the box midway through the second half, and should’ve scored one of the three or four chances we had after the equaliser...

Re: Darlington V Spennymoor
What’s the verdict on the fouls for the free kicks? I’ve watched them back and I don’t think either are fouls, Kev’s camera angles pretty much prove it for me. I think Chandler trips over himself for the first and I’m pretty sure Galbraith won the ball before making contact with Williams for the sec...

Without a doubt we need a new keeper next season .No chance for the first, positioning poor for the 2nd and when do you actually see him making saves or collecting crosses.Did not really rate Jameson but would have him back over Maddison Sent from my moto g(6) play using Tapatalk Agree, he’s not co...

Re: Where we are after 25 league games
1,242 (this season, minus the York game) 1,528 (Last season, minus the York, Spenny & Harrogate games) If you remove York from this season we are on 1,350 in the league currently. If you remove York, Spenny & Harrogate from last season league and use the whole season without them 3 then it's 1,357....

Re: York V Darlington
For me the 2 wins out of 3 over Christmas has reduced the amount of wins required to stay up from 7 to 5. That is all. Scrape 5 more wins and we have 42 points. A few draws here and there and we should have enough. A record of 5-5-8 will see us get to 47. Considering our entire record this season i...

Stockport, Southport, Chorley and Telford.

Re: York V Darlington
Proves that the 5-1 on Boxing Day was a massive flash in the pan. I’m at the point where I actually no longer feel bothered, I’m used to it now. No positives to take from that. Tactically clueless.

Re: Sat 29th Dec - Ashton United (Home)
Can't believe that was almost the same side that thrashed York on Boxing Day! First 20mns we pressed well but had no shots on target. Nelson took his chance really well, dinking the ball like a seasoned pro for his first. We then lost the plot, could not string 2 passes together and just totally ce...

Wright and White out. Today was the final straw. Result aside, 8 or 9 players showed absolutely no passion and no fight for the shirt, maybe because they know their place is safe no matter what, as we’re skint. How do we look outnumbered with a man advantage? That’s the big concern. Sliding down the...
