Re: Liam Hardy signs...
Only way this is cost neutral is including Dowson Kneeshaw and Callaghan. Even then probably not quite cost neutral. But who knows when we know so little.

So if your not an instant success you have no quality. Jesus. He's a young lad, a striker and not had much of a run of games. Not sure why he was even given a contract if change your mind like the weather tbh.

Re: DFC Official News
The club could issue summaries of what they have covered elsewhere on a WEEKLY basis in a Post Subject "DFC Weekly Digest". DFC could have a "DFC STOP PRESS" Post Subject with Alert and Event info, which may help fans & one-off fundraising. This would avoid clutter and could include some club/spons...

Re: Rob Youhill released from contract
I like Armstrong, a lot in fact. But he's not playing. I honestly expect him to leave, as well as Purewal via loan initially. As for Dowson, well he's a Gray player alright but he's injured more than fit these days. Personally I see Kneeshaw playing ahead of both Dowson and Armstrong, purely because...

Re: Midfielder made available for transfer
Mitchell has gone off the boil a long time ago. Thompson as well, odd good game but frequently poor. Disagree regarding Thompson. Back to his best with form similar to what we saw in the 13/14 season. Fair enough. I was probably a little harsh with ' frequently poor' but I have seen a few mares in ...

Gibbons and new foreign striker. Amar on loan.
Anthony the left back/wing should be safe.
If Dowson can't stay fit and get a run he becomes a outside possibility.

Re: Salford
I'm not particularly interested this season tbh, I'd sooner see us suffer a points deduction than suffer the indignity of getting relegated for failing to meet ground grading requirements. Salford are very much in the same situation currently although I'd expect the CO92 to have a contingency plan ...

Re: The Arena
I was at the Arena yesterday - and from the chat I had with a member of staff there, I picked up the feeling that they're not keen about having us (DFC) back. And that's putting it politely! So unless there's some major enticement (financial, or in some other way) then why would they even bother wi...

Re: The Arena
As a short/medium-term option prior to building our own stadium, returning to Darlington via The Arena is an acceptable option. However, Mowden have categorically stated they're not interested and, allegedly, don't need the money. Why would they bother? As an earlier poster has stated, this may wel...

i think we need another quality keeper, nowt wrong with Jameson but Provett's too old How old do you think Provett is? I'm more concerned with how s hit he is than his age. If Jameson gets injured I'm sure we'll bring in a loan keeper if Gray feels Provett isn't up to it so it's largely irrelevant,...

Re: MG says that Galbraith and Scott were “two big men.”
Thought Callaghan did well also in the second half. Not a fan of playing Gibbbons as a right back still. I used to think Mitchell was a waste there but I'd rather him and Youhill, or even his brother tbh. Not Gibbons fault, he just isn't a very good right back. But it will all sort itself out once W...
