Re: Saturdays match

Its an away game so could well be on.
Actually apart from the gales up here there is nothing to prevent it going ahead.
Ground is actually drying out, however snow is due during the night.

Nope, too early for me jarramel. Got work in a hour  Just slowly getting pissed off with these angry villagers brandishing pitch-forks at us. You really are a fucking knobhead. If the tossers amongst you kept your mouth shut instead of spouting shite you wouldn't get us "villagers" responding....

Re: Players discussed at the fans forum

Think we would need a bigger squad due to travelling, getting time off to travel to mid-week games etc. Thing that i'm thinking is will players want to sign for us with the travelling and what have you. Bearing in mind that we are only going to get local players at these levels and they will be thin...

Re: Players suited and booted

Its the managers idea. Will build a sense of belonging and instill pride in playing for the club.
A bit like wearing a team shirt whilst supporting.
MG has not done too much wrong so far, however if people think they can do a better job........

Why did we never get chairmen like Graeme Wood, or owners like IOR?

Re: Game off today

We need to get out of this backwater and return to the town.
Even if we were burdened with midweek games the crowds would be larger in town than they are at the moment.
If i wanted to watch my football in monobrow six toed banjo plucking land i would support Hartlepool.

Correct train will have South Shields on the front. If you get the wrong one it will have st james on the front.
If your on the right platform and get the wrong train it goes one stop turns round and evolves into the correct train.

I can only recall the ABC and the Odeon however when my parents ran the half moon they told me that there was numerous cinemas in the vicinity including one where northgate house now stands. Not certain but i seem to recall the name Alambra or something like that.

Thought the majestic was the bingo hall in skinnergate.
I can remember the snooker place being the odeon cinema in the 70's and 80's.
Used to get someone to pay in then open the fire exits near the toilets letting everyone else in on a saturday morning lol.

Would it be such a bad thing?

If and i mean if we missed out on promotion this year? It would buy us some time to build up the coffers, local games and a winning side. I know this may seem negative but it would be better than starting in two seasons time with no promotion dream. Looking at another perspective it could result in ...
