Re: Two out one in?
Going to Spennymoor is the best option for a lot of your 'rejects' as some of you have nicely put it, because it allows them to keep playing at a good standard of football for a good, ambitious club without having to drop to the Home for Tea league But they are our rejects. They offered their servi...

Re: Match thread?
We have a genuine top half conference (at least) quality midfield, add a conference quality striker and maybe defender, and I think we would comfortably compete up there. The players that we're managing to bring in right now are way beyond what my expectations were. Went to Harrogate for the first ...

Re: Two out one in?
Isn't Fenwick a full-time pro? Suppose it could work for him if he's prepared to get a day job. He's full time, yeah. Gary Mills has been heavily implying that next week will be the start of what might be a sizable cull at York, with new players (particularly forwards) on the way in. Whether Fenwic...

Re: Two out one in?
Taylor isn't out of favour though. Craddock is, Fisher is. Would want neither. I like Fenwick at York, but with Hardy on the bench I'm not that arsed right now. Fenwick is almost certainly heading out of York, new manager doesn't rate him (playing wingers up front over him) and he's done little of ...

Re: The Labour Leadership election thread.
They've chosen an unelectable man with principles relating to the original Labour standing as opposed to an unelectable Blairite clone.
Labour won't come anywhere near governing for a good while, but at least they can now say they offer a genuine alternative (even if I'd never vote for it).

You spoke to soon Bradford sign big experienced front man Emile Sinclair today ex football league Doncaster,Northampton, crawley From someone who's seen a fair bit of York over the last two seasons I can tell you he's shite, and one of the laziest footballers I've ever seen. The obvious target to fill the role at the start of summer was Jon Shaw getting released by gateshead but South Shields were able to convinced him to join them. There don't appear to be many stand out candidates left in the Target Man Category Brodie & Fenwick were stand-outs for me but both have m...

Cheers Fozz. Not actually too bad of a line up considering the amount Buckley, Matthews, Bridcutt and Mavrias cost alone, even playing at half throttle.

The Labour NEC have just voted 18-14 IN FAVOUR of Corbyn being on the ballot. Hmm... I wonder which way the leadership vote will go? The party members will vote to keep Corbyn, and if Angela Eagle is the alternative I can see why. As much as I disagree with Corbyn on a great many things I can respe...

Re: The Tory Leadership Election Thread
Only May, Leadsom, and Gove left in the race now. Fox got eliminated and Crabb has dropped out of his own accord. I now think that Theresa May will be the next PM (not that I want her to be) so I guess that means Osborne and Hammond will be retained, and Tony Blair will be drafted in to smooth thin...

I didn't say anything wrong, Atrincham support wise are not one of the biggest clubs. Yes they'll have some decent players, but there are bigger clubs, with better support in our division. Yet more proof Pete only posts shyte to wind people up. Make no mistake, this isn't the Rusted Transit Van Inb...

Evans is, and always has been, an arrogant tosser who winds up colleagues and viewers alike. Apparently Steve Coogan is being mentioned as his replacement, can't see that working either. Time to let it go, especially with the original three on Amazon. Taken to LeBlanc far more than I thought I would...

For what it's worth, I have actually seen Jenny at at least a couple of our games in the past. But Princestown and Darlo_Pete didn't, which is all that matters here. Maybe next time she's at a game she should search them out. Perhaps they can keep a tally of the number of games per season she goes ...

Re: England - God we are awful
The boat has left and money has won. The England team might cause the odd shock of actually winning a game that matters a couple of times in the future but it stands that our supposed best players are more concerned with their oversized headphones and stupid fucking haircuts to care. You lose to Ice...

Leasdom would be my choice, though I suspect the best she'll get is a close second behind the wave of support for May and perhaps a senior job in the cabinet. Though, as Henley right points out, if she can rally the grassroots of the party to her side and become the Leave camp's choice you never kno...

I forgot - being a Darlington season ticket holder is a pre-requisite for being the town's MP. You might disagree with her politics, but to say she couldn't give a stuff about the football club because she didn't go to our play-off games 2 seasons ago is nonsense. She's worked hard with the club, t...

The Echo today says it'll be youthful teams from Sunderland and Newcastle, which isn't helpful for the club. Yeah, playing a side representing the region's biggest sides at a larger stadium in the town whilst fostering good relations with the current tenants is bound to cripple us. Or not, you dens...

Had both, stuck with the PS4 in the end as the exclusives are more my kind of thing (Last of Us, Until Dawn, Uncharted and the upcoming No Man's Sky for example) and I had been entirely PS3 for the previous gen. If the exclusives don't bother you much I'd consider asking around your mates to see whi...
