Taken out of context i meant it as in it wasn't his strongest point and clearly Norton is even worse than him at that part of his game.
Clearly a difference of opinion tho, all entitled to our own

Re: Craig Turns
Sammy wasn't good from set peices at all FFS!!! Stop using those rose tinted glasses. Still an awesome keeper tho, always thought he was far to good for bsp or l2 for that fact

Re: What is the situation with promotion?
I'm not so clear on this as there is two places highlighted in green for some reason this season. Guess we'll all just to wait and see till the fat lady sings and we all learn our fate

Re: Craig Turns
Thing is, is must clubs always have one position that they are strong in. Ours always used to be keepers, if you take a look at the awesome keepers we've had the privilege of watching over the years. Then we get Norton and it all changes!!!

Re: Craig Turns
Totally agree that Norton should be dropped, he's awful at crosses. Didn't even attempt to get into position for either goals. He's worse than Sammy Russell for not commanding his area or dealing with crosses

Re: Today's Echo report on Arena
What about the Fleetwood and York games though? Or the FA Trophy semi against Gateshead. The Arena CAN have a decent atmosphere with 4, 5, 6,000 in it. agreed, 2 - 0 down at half time, coming back to win the leg and bearly 5k in the stadium and it was rocking. look at where that game got us aswell....

Re: Today's Echo report on Arena
This is the one and only opportunity we may have to get back to playing in Darlington. Keep the ticket prices the same and we even attract more fans on what would be a new era. For fans to say they won't go is just ridiculous and I hope Denis is not swayed by a vocal few. We don't have the money to...

Re: Arena Future
In just two games Bishop's setup has shown us the way forward. I'd be gutted if we ended up back in that bloody place. Whats that then? massive queues in the beer tent, only a few piss pots and two cubicles to the entire 2000 people in there? People paying for parking passses and not actually being...

mac  For what they are and what they cost i don't ever see why people would go for one. As Divas said all you need is a nice cheapish Dell Inspiron, load it with traktor and Bob's your uncle. No need for external soundcard, as noted the PA at HP isnt like the arena's. If you need traktor or si...

How can he ask for a share of profits for development of something that one isn't his and second isn't the clubs. It shows to me all he was in this for, land development. Glad the council stuck to their guns otherwise he'd of made his money and left us dry

Hartlepool are sending out invites to Darlington Schools to take part in a penalty day in which they send over some players and hold a sponsored penalty taking day. Spliting the cash 50/50 with the school and themselfs. The sheer cheek of it all, think West Park Academy has already taken part ? Or s...

Another FAKE club in the football league, don't deserve to be there alongside the other scum Crawley. Bet you wouldn't be saying it if we were still getting bankrolled and GH never pulled that plug, L1 was a possibility. Lets face it most clubs lose money and most get bankrolled. Look at pools 1.5m...

It's looking like we definately hit the the first phase target. Been pondering about this first phase of 250k and the fact that it said its to pay all footballing creditors. Now given that the transfer embargo was placed before admin and was placed for failure to pay footballing creditors, am i righ...

Ball bounced off his head for the goal, it wasn't directed towards Lucas Jutkiewicz. Just a fluke. Seems his first touch is still dire aswell. From what i seen of him last night no wonder we let him go. Lots of running about but no end product. Same mould as Kevin Gall Bags of potential but lack of ...

Yeah i'd be more than happy to pay £10 a month by DD, on top of going to the matches. Surely enough of us doing that would help alot. Like the old cliche goes "it all adds up"
