Admittedly its a bit of a disappointment, Ive been to loads of decent away clubhouses on away trips in the last few years and always had that hope we could have something like that on matchday. Personal fav was harrogate railway. Being an exile id always prefer my drinking money to go into the club ...

Also wouldn't we as tenants have some sort of agreement with our landlord about who covers the costs of pitch upkeep?

Im sure we will bear some of the cost but surely not all.

I do think this is going to be a nice little ground when its done. for all the problems it has i think we are going to have a decent match day experience here.

Had a few mates in the military they have ask if they think the stadium will be ready for the Salford home game on the 3rd. They are on training exercise at cattrick the week before.

I've told them probably wont be back in darlo for that time. What does anyone else think?

Im off on a stagdo near matlock in the derbyshire dales. we are talking about watching matlock tomorrow. Did anyone go last season? Any boozer recommendations and what was the club house like?

I think what most people are say is that we all intitled to our opinions what ever they are. But when they venture into insulting people who are volunteers working for the club. E.g ship of fools / pack of lies. Its beyond the realm of constructive debate and its just being insulting. End of the day...

It was one of those that you hoped they'd had far to much ale and went on a rant. Because if someone made that sober we all need to worry for them as a person

6000 is totally the right size. My Mates a bury fan, gig lane is only 6000-7000 and that does them in L1. Although it does need a lick of paint admittedly

Weve certaintly had worse written about us. Its just common sense. Inflate too fast and you can go pop.

isnt this the mistake that most clubs make, signing older players from higher divisions on big wages.

Id prefer to poach younger players who are hungry for a crack at this league. As we have done the last few years. We have a decent amount of experience in the squad already.
