Re: Darlo v Curzon Sat 8th Feb

£760 for a waterhog and we might be able to sort the water logging and not lose Saturday games to flooding and rearranged weekday games and lower attendances, one rearranged game would cost more than this in lost revenue Seems quite a good investment. I don't imagine that the Rugby Club has it's ow...

Re: Squareknot

Just been reading the pitch rewards for the equity scheme. If only I had a spare £2,500 to put in. It is actually a pretty good deal. 2 season tickets for the next 2 seasons 2 hospitality packs for 4 people spread over the 2 seasons. Probably get £1,500 approx back would you think? Also 2500 shares

Re: HP Ground

Looks like a bit of rain in the evening, doesn't look like it is a monsoon though (assuming 1 drop is light compared to 2 drops!?) Have you had that much rain up there recently? I understand from a post on another thread that nobody has played on it since we were last there. It's probably a bit pre...

Re: Scott 3 match ban

Leon Scott begins a three-match ban this weekend. so he will miss Harrogate RA Ossett Albion and Cammell Laird, i think we can cope with that, the main problem is White"s 2 match ban after his next booking, does he get himself booked at Harrogate and miss Ossett and Cammell? After Cammell we have P...

Spoke to the ref who's just called Bishop's game off tonight. Waterlogged from box to box, plenty of standing water. He reckons ours will be off. Looking at the weather radar, it's looking okay this evening and overnight, it's 12 o'clock tomorrow it's going to tip it down The only way I can possibl...

Who is this " We " that you say were happy for the game to be called off. 3-400 supporters who had crossed the pennines and many others who had travelled hundreds of miles were not the least bit happy. It is always a risk in winter that games can be called off after fans have set off for the match,...

Really shocked. Hard in places with 2 hours to go. If anyone is around at 3 I'd be interested to know how it is looking. It'll look exactly the same without any work taking place on it. It's too much to ask teams to travel in the hope that it might be better at 3pm anyway. Sent from my HTC One usin...

Just received an email from the club advertising new fund raising initiatives. Looks like we are looking for 50k to keep the club operating short term. I assume this is to service the debt. Well structured plans to hopefully get people interested. Where does it say 'Looks like we are looking for 50...

Too many wet behind the ears ex-academy kids for me. Not sure whether it's a conscious decision by Gray to go down that route or whether his hand has been forced due to a lack of players who want to try and further themselves or budget. Crying out for an experienced ball winner in the middle but we...

I went yesterday - we looked ok after a heavy midweek game and with so many changes. It wasn't a classic and we weren't at our best but we ground out a point. Move on to the next one! We didn't really look threatened by Lancaster who defended very deeply and made sure that as soon as Thomspon got t...
