Re: Tyrone O'Neill
Would it be the worst idea in the world to invite these 2 lads to train with us for a couple of weeks ? From memory Tyrone could at least hold the ball up and bring others into the game, something we are definitely missing at the moment. We just don’t have anyone up front who can hold on to the bal...

Re: Scarborough Fa Cup
Now we can concentrate staying in the NLN. Will Hatfield again MOTM so any chance we can clone him quickly?

Re: Jack Hannah
The lad needs to beef up to cope with the physicality of NLN. Started well & could be heard shouting to team-mates which is something that has been lacking. Difficult to slot first time into a team in turmoil with new young keeper too. Good luck to the lad, we all need it!

Re: Kaine Felix
TBF it is hardly fair to expect the lad to slot into the team & get onto the scoresheet if he only trains with them once a week. Can see why we wouldn't pick him for the Scarboro game as he would be cup-tied & may cool interest from other sides. No doubt he has potential but needs to be moved on now.

Re: Darlington V Gloucester
Good to see JG ringing the changes, starting with the pre-match warm-up. It looked to be organised, purposeful & inclusive of whole squad. JG was totally involved and seemed to continue directing throughout the match from technical area. Subs all used in timely fashion (although I would have liked B...

Re: Darlington V Gloucester
Nice to have Will Hatfield back playing with spirit & justifiably MOTM. Others need to take a leaf out of his book. We played better without Moke who got a yellow card & hardly played a forward pass. Hazel just out of his class missed couple of 1/2 chances but we were kept in game at 0-1 by super sa...

Re: Scunny... s*** hits fan
The Scunny board say tough, unpopular decisions are having to be made to put the club on a stable financial footing. There is speculation that this may include giving up on the eviction battle at Glandford Park and moving to be tenants of Gainsborough Trinity, shedding players or going part-time, a...

Perhaps a TV deal?
More likely acting on police advice on the projected hordes of away fans drinking in town pre-match. Are they basing this on the unacceptable behaviour last season?

TBF A lot of hot air vented on the terraces & Forum about being fan owned, so wonder why so few folk have bothered to vote. Surely this is a chance for us to have a say & a responsible owner should make the effort. What are you suggesting ? Do you think we should have a fans poll for a new manager ...

Re: Darlington V Workington
But in the end we got through to the next round. It was a banana skin of a fixture & glad we got over it safely with cash into the bank. Hope we get a decent draw & can progress. Perhaps any potential manager might see we are not quite the sad case that our current league position shows.

Re: Who's in for it....
Whoever comes in it’s going to be difficult, budget is likely spent I doubt there are no new big commercial deals to be done so it’s going to down to commitment and man management, TBH I wouldn’t wish that on anyone but whoever takes the role let’s all get behind him/her. Her ?? Am all for inclusiv...

Re: Alun has been sacked
Good luck to Barnes, training with York as well as Darlo shows how driven & ambitious he is. Shame if we can't hanģ on to him for longer as he looked an ideal replacement for Lambert.

Re: Boston
At least it was a clean sheet - full 90+ minutes when we didn't concede. That's about it. No discernible formation, method or thought apart from "hoof it up" (even though nobody capable of receiving a ball & either hold or layoff). The side looked bereft of any attacking threat. AA has got us rooted...

A lifetime ago (well until 1977) this was a regular Div4 fixture which was always packed with incident. Still not an easy one even if we are a league above.
