The beauty of local commentary is that the commentators are 100% biased in favour of one of the teams - It's what makes it special. It would not be a surprise though if the BBC decided that commentators need to be neutral.

I might be in a minority of one here but in the current econmic climate, I think that this isn't such a bad compromise - at least we'll still be able to listen to all the games. Brian Laws, as far as I remember, had a few good years at Scunthorpe and was then found out at Shef Wed and Burnley. Didn't he also throw a plate of food at one of his players at Scunthorpe? A backward step I'd say.
