One thing does concern me is our poor start to games, the half time hair dryer treatment needs to done before kickoff, then we will win 8-1

Not being funny but if we end up in the middle of a running track then thats me done. I'd sooner go back to the arena than sit miles away from the pitch.
Agree with that, Billy Syn a prime example.

Whitley Bay this Saturday

To be honest i cant take anymore of the west saga at the moment. :( We have a big match this Saturday, i know nothing about Whitley Bay FC, looking at the league they seem to be doing ok, so it should be a good game, they didnt play mid week, so like us they will be fresh, really looking forward to ...

Re: This Saturday (Boycott)

Back to the thread please, :) what is the best way to get as many of those fans who are thinking of going to the game, not to attend? Lets say 1200 turn up on Saturday to watch the game, 200 on here say they will not attend tweets/facebook another 200, that leaves 800, 300 will probably not go becaus...

This Saturday (Boycott)

We need to raise the awareness of the boycott at this Saturdays game, i still think that a lot of fans wont be aware of what is going on and this will be an ideal opportunity to get the message across to those that are unaware, undecided or other options (going to watch BA at HT).
Anyone?

Re: Club Statement on West Prices

Terrific statement from the club. It is good that they understand the supporters decision in boycotting and appear to be discretely encouraging fans to cheer on Bishop instead (I wonder if most Darlo fans go to Bishop whether we get a percentage of the gate receipts?). The buckets to collect £5 is ...

Re: West Auckland boycott - Facebook group

I think west must be laughing at us already, with all this talk of scabs who cross the picket line, divisions between supporters and so on,so what happens after the game are all those who choose to attend to be ostracized? Setting father against son as in the coal miners strike. The commuity club co...

From Mike Amos

Sorry if its been posted before, this is the quote from Mike Amos blog. The altogether more dismaying news, on a personal level probably the biggest disappointment in my 17 years as league chairman, is West Auckland’s confirmation this evening that the decision to double admission prices for Darling...

Re: West Auckland boycott - Facebook group

Not sure about the "Rip off Darlo" picture-to me it makes it look at first glance like people are complaining about the prices Darlo set.

Yes at first glance, it looks like we are the ones ripping fans off.

Re: Match Thread!

Pretty poor first half today, got played all over the park really. The goal was just a cross-come shot which Norton could have done nothing about. But the second half was fantastic! We battered them all half and we looked like the new Darlo who were driving on and on and on. Fantastic at the end wh...

Re: Will you be going to the West Auckland game?

Its difficult to gage the strength of feeling for the rest of the Darlo fans, obviously we are more partisan on this board, and are more in touch with whats going on, but if you dont use this site, (a lot dont) and missed the article in the Echo, how are they to know?
