Re: My concern...
If this happens, then not one company in the town will give the club credit - it'll be cash on delivery or no goods Can't blame them at all. That's why if possible outside of the CVA I would be tempted to pay them back everything that is owed. I am sure legally we can't do this. I suppose if it cos...

Re: My concern...
Agree with the concept, no idea about the reality. But say we owe a local printing firm say 10k, and we have to pay minimal/nothing in a CVA. At this point I would like to think we could look to do something to pay off these debts. Get them extra work, give them free advertising. This is what a Comm...

Re: Todays Echo report on the trust
If your on here Craig your a loose cannon. Just kidding by the way. I think in regards to the Trust money then this can still come to the club and a numebr of people on here are working towards this scenario. Good luck on May 4th for the CVA, and good luck to us on May 14th for the AGM of the Trust,...

Re: North East Tonight
Keep going Craig, I think as a community we just need that final Raj moment and understand where we go if/when he doesn't agree (the sooner this happens the better). We all want BSN football, we believed it was going to happen. It's a bit like Christmas with currently our number one present being BS...

I think 1883 have enough to do with making Raj an offer he can't refuse. Either his signature on the paper or ......(well worked in the Godfather)

Re: I think its time for.....
What does Raj want? I think its time for him to say. Not sure how everyone else feels but he can have 50k and fuck off, or he can have nothing and we might as well liquidate. If he chooses nothing, then thanks for the memories of DFC, I started as a young boy watching David Currie in the 4th Divisio...

Re: Between a Rock and Hard Place
thats all our deal with raj is in the first place getting him to say he is owed nothing instead of something and therefore we are meeting all our creditors. If Raj says I am owed £100k then his full claim is £100k and if we pay him £100k we have met the criteria to pay 100% of creditors irrespectiv...

Re: Between a Rock and Hard Place
I agree but before the CVA is agreed, Raj can or could (not 100% sure now) state that he is owed a much less amount than 800k. So under that he could say they owe me say 80k, and to pay 100% of the CVA for conference rules we would pay the 502k and the 80k, then everyone has been paid the same perce...

Re: Between a Rock and Hard Place
If our creditors were 502k both Football and Non Football outside of Raj. How far would be willing to go to agree the CVA and stay in the BSN (Did I really say that). If Raj would agree to 100k instead of his clauses, so total debt 602k, would it be worth us paying him. Other alternative could be li...

Got to admit I would not be comfortable with McCormick playing for us. I just have to relate this to if it happend to my family. I do understand served scentence and it's his work etc but I just couldn't support the guy, guess the family he affected will never finish serving their scentence.

Come on DTID, stick with it. I am hoping and Trusting 1883 will not make a deal that heaps more debt than we can survive with, and not giving Raj anything more than we have to. Don't give in now, I know where your coming from but we need to stay strong together. Also as stated, anything in Phase1 in...

Liddle has been a fantastic servant and I would love him to stay in the youth team set up. However for the Club and the man himself I don't wnat him as manager. Re: Next seasons home crowds
Whether we charge £13 to £15 for the Conference North or £10 to £12 for the Evostick Premier, won't have a massive influence on the size of the crowds. How we perform on the pitch will be a far bigger driving force behind what crowds we get next season. Can't disagree with this. Results and style o...

I now have some cash to invest and would happily do it now, but the crowdcube figure being almost static has been putting me off. I know it shouldn't be it is. Had a chat with Lee at the race night, seemed very level headed and I guess we won't know unless we gave him a try. I would certainly support him as a fan. Happy for him to make a name for himself, if he is doing that it sounds like we would be doing quite well.

Excellent update Scott, a few other fundraisers that have been organised I assume the money has gone to 1883 who will have costs as you say solicitors etc.
Is they an update also on how many shares the DUFF fund now owns, is DUFF becoming quite a large shareholder. (I hope so)

Hartlepool came to Feethams and were doing quite well, we had just signed a lad called Dougald McCarrison (At least it was ...
