Re: Gloucester City away 10/12/22
Also some rumours of looking for a groundshare whilst stadium is being built. As has been discussed previously, groundsharing may not be an option. Of course it's all conjecture, promotion is far from assured but it would be nice not to have this hanging over us! Yeah agree, we have no idea if it w...

Re: Gloucester City away 10/12/22
I guess we are going to need to have faith in the Board and DJ on this one. They know about the challenges and have certainly had discussions so we just need to hope a resolution is found if we manage to get promotion. We would have until Mar 24 to resolve the challenge, have something in place to k...

Re: Scarborough Boxing Day
Scarborough are riding a crest of a wave currently and are getting really good away backing. Wouldn't be surprised to see them bring around 400/500. It could well be 2,200/2,500 crowd, maybe even more if both clubs have a good December leading up to it. Club have made some sensible moves around tick...

Just watched it, really good piece. Well done to Scully, Jon Saddington and AA, promoted our club really well. Fair play to AA as well, frustration he has with losing out on Leesley and generally selling his best assets but clearly he gets the long term plan of the club. Was quite an uplifting piece.

We entered, were drawn in the first round and then forfeited.
Not sure why, maybe we didn't have the youth team signed up intime as they also dropped out of the FA Youth Cup if memory serves me right.

Re: Kidderminster V Darlington
Great couple of results for us, I think if AA is positive as he has been the last few games then we could be in for a very good season. He has established a very good squad but it does seem Beck needs a partner to work with and that means one less in midfield which he will just have to put faith in ...

Not that bothered where it will be to be honest (as long as it's in Darlington), more about the costs, transport and speed of getting it built.
As all planning in every town turns into a battle, I am happy to leave it to DJ to battle and give us updates when we have concrete info.

I was fairly confident we were going to win last night until about 85 minutes, when I was accepting of a point on a night we hadn't played great. Then Ben Liddle steps up and makes it 3 points. I am actually for the first time in a long time, fairly confident when we are not playing great, that we m...

Contracted players can not be dual registered, only non contract players can be.
Not even sure you can loan a non contracted player out, but as you say no real benefit to us to do it anyhow. So might as well dual reg and let them get some game time.

Nicholson scored 11 goals in that season 18/19, he appeared in 43 out of 44 games and was a bright spark to be fair. Hopefully he gets back playing as soon as possible, shame to see him injured and I wish him a speedy recovery.

Agree with all the above comments regarding the giving the lad more experience. Not completely sure of the difference between loan and dual registration, but if the latter means we can recall him at short notice that would make sense. We are short on defenders and he might easily be needed in the n...

All about getting through to the next round today, as mentioned we didn't totally get going today but managed a 3-2 win. Some interesting possible ties, someone not in our division please, at home if possible. Bury would be good if they can get past Lancaster, decent team but NWCFL Premier division ...

Maybe allows Lambert some rest or possibly Moke.

Re: Darlington v Boston 3/09/22
11 points from 7 games, nicely placed in 7th place, 3 wins from 4 home games. Strikers have 4 & 2 goals which is decent enough. Yet still I feel we have much more to give, I come home knowing I should be happy but feel a little disappointed. Think I need to look more on the positive side but we seem...

Non league paper was taken from what Uncovered announced on the day.
One for the club to confirm but it seems more likely the 1,444 is the given figure.

I would assume in the long run it will be cheaper to pay for it in one go, than have two developments at different points.
Understandably it all depends about the finance element of the stadium as you say.

Sousa scored 7 goals in 14 appearances, not sure how many assists but I reckon a few.
He smashes it at this level and with the way Beck and Hazel occupy defenders, would have a field day for us.

I didn't see it as AA going aggressive about the situation, but trying to highlight where we are. I am sure AA would like a bit more budget, what manager wouldn't, but he will work with what we have. It's make or break for AA and if he had the option for a real decent player but is pushing our budge...

The good thing is we don't need him to be a starting eleven player on day one, however being in full pre-season gives him the opportunity to slowly build up and perhaps be ready. I agree with the brilliant or flop scenario, he has every opportunity and it is all down to the player. It's a gamble fro...

Cannot deny though that we were all saying similar things last summer and it ended up pear shaped. Re: Potential new signings
JJ Hooper is available from South Shields - not sure if he would be a decent option or not. Depends on how many options we have, but yes he would be a decent enough squad signing, his record isn't bad in terms of goals return. Not heard him mentioned in regards to us and he had been full time since...

Final 3 days plus what dropped in just after was £36.2k last year. We look like £120k should be achievable at this point, which will be quite a positive for us moving forward into next season. AA interview sounds like he knows we have to be ready from day one and these slow/poor starts to the season...

Re: BTB - It's back
Different ways of looking at it, last year we had an extra day as it launched on the 30th April. Anyhow by close of play on the 27th May it was just over £96k and by COP on the 28th May it was just over £102k. We are currently on £84.5k, so guessing we will be about £10k/£20k down on last years £138...

I'm not surprised Cassidy with 5 goals in 39 appearances has been released, I actually quite like his physicality and maybe alongside a decent strike partner he could have worked better. However with Hazel in the bag, I can see why we look elsewhere for another frontman, as always it all depends on ...

Don't believe Rivers & mondal performances this season justified being retained hope it is on reduced terms as expect both to be squad players with Mondal likely going back on loan to Marske if we can attract a couple of decent fit forwards(Nelson maybe fit by Xmas?) Rivers and Mondal haven't signe...
