I’ve just had a Carlsberg weekend.

Re: Darlington V Rushall

Beyond me why we let Hazel go knowing Asante was miles away and Nelson missing. Basically left us with no recognised available forward in the club for 2 massive games. The guy, like him or not, keeps making ridiculous decisions. Worst case, at least in this weeks interviews give us some background ...

Re: Warrington

Gutted to concede such a late equaliser - especially after chances to put the game to bed.

Hopefully the team can take the positives into the next match.

Re: Chorley

Such a contrast from last Saturday's game where the players did everything you'd hope for. I wonder if Gowling's main (only?) ethos / style of play is too quirky for a struggling team? Last night an extreme situation, but at 1-0 down with a man off, you change your principles and line up with 4-5-0....

Re: Darlo v Chester

First time watching Darlo in the flesh in many many years. Delighted with the win and thought our 2nd and 3rd goals were quality. My main takeaways from today were that we looked solid. Lawlor and Burton seem a good partnership. Ngandu covered a lot of ground - not spectacular as such but suspect he...

Hi all - I have the pleasure of enjoying hospitality at the game tomorrow.

Any hints / tips?

And yes - I've already had "close you're eyes from 3pm tomorrow" as one suggestion....

Trash is maybe a strong word. But I don’t think he gives an additional value to the squad. He didn’t play first half of season (when we were playing well) and featured in a lacklustre and out of ideas Darlo. He is took weak on the ball and is considerable slow considering his size and he wouldn’t g...

Re: Boost the Budget

Thing is we own our own club, holding money back because we don’t like the manager or whatever is just typical Raj Singh behavior. If we want to compete we pay what we can afford and let people who have the time to volunteer to run the club make the big decisions. I’d never hold money back just bec...

One thing that DFC could do to help with any future problems that may occur at Blackwell Meadows is to upgrade the P.A. system. Because in various parts of the stadium it’s hard to make out what’s being said. “Will the crackle hiss of car feedbackhisssystration plate, cow pea mince - pond heaven pu...

its a shame, but seems like football clubs need to reach a crisis point to get away from the rich owner model. living in Edinburgh now I get my football fix by watching Hearts - another club who almost went to the wall, but now receive around £140,000 a month via direct debits from fans voluntarily...

I've been enjoying watching the Wrexham documentary and whilst a tad envious of the money they have-they lay a pitch for £100,000 doesn't take and gets relayed for £200,000-a decent stadium and big crowds it made me more proud of what we have achieved. Even more impressive to see 3 of the top 4 in ...
