200 Sold
Only 200 sold so far for Salford - General sale has been brought forward and starts tonight! I know people hate Salford and don't want to give them their money, but at the end of the day it doesn't really make a difference as they're rich anyway.. Anyone who was unsure on whether to attend or not sh...

Re: Its here the investment
On one side I think he must have an ulterior motive and on the other I think maybe he does want to put some wrongs right. We should probably listen to what he has to say before we make a decision. If he had some master plan to buy back the arena, develop the land etc then why would he need the footb...

Re: Price of this new seated stand we need
Quotes just came in this morning based on 220 covered seats and the quote was £49,570.00 plus vat. ;-) Is that just for the stand itself or does it cover installation, foundations, roof etc? £60k just for the stand is a fair chunk. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk It will cover the roof as well...

Mclaren lives in Yarm and Singh in Eaglescliffe. Wouldn't be a bad place to meet considering.
Interestingly the land in front of Singh's house near Allens West now has a new housing development on it - probably earned a fair bit from that.

Richard Cook has tweeted the following -
"Carehome operator and a football club.
Perhaps we are the salmon."
I know he has left the club but I'm sure he would know.

Re: Fundraising the new seated stand
That could work, but I don't think the Rugb Club would go with it without taking some of the money earned from it. They don't need/want a new stand, but the winning business will have their name plastered all over the Rugby Clubs home, who would then be missing out on their own sponsorship deals.

Safe Standing
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/65/Safe_standing_area_fitted_with_rail_seats.jpg/200px-Safe_standing_area_fitted_with_rail_seats.jpg Is this an option for us? I know certain competitions don't allow it but it could really help us in ticking a few boxes around seats/ capacity ...

Re: Fire up the totaliser
Personally i think the best and quickest option for us at the moment is to get them 2 seating stands at bishop and pay for them to built properly and fully covered. We re-used the tin shed so why not re-use our seats :-) Ok alternative solution but, if money is tight (and better spent on e.g pitch ...

Burgess failed a fitness test and with Brown out injured the back line is Marrs, Hunter, Tez and Ferguson. Rest of the team unchanged.
Wearmouth on the bench alongside Lee Hume who has moved in from the reserves.

Re: Reserves
Non of the above are currently at Eastbourne around the all weather pitch but a switch to the grass pitch could solve that. I am also under the impression that the Northern League don't allow reserve teams from higher level clubs,or has that changed now that Saint Mike has left? I am unsure regardi...

Seems to be more in favour of not signing him reading the posts- I've added a poll to the opening post to see what everyone thinks as I'm sure there is a few who haven't posted here but have an opinion about Brodie.

Sure we were in for him a few weeks ago but he chose to join Boston United instead (presumably money related). Just seen that he has had his contract terminated, with no reason given, after three games. Gregg Smith the big target man who was at Stamford last season is out for the season with a broke...

Re: David Ferguson - New Signing
I hope he has signed as a CB rather than a LB.
Jordan Watson hasn't really had a fair crack and when he has had to stand in for Tez at LB I think he has looked good. He played well against Fylde which was one of our best performances of the season.

Re: Stadium Blueprint with Waterpipe location
Nobody knows the ins and outs of the deal, apart from people within both clubs. However, we have been told previously we could not function at Bishop in the long term and that a move back to Darlo was essential for the club. If the deal is exactly same as the Bishop deal, and not greater, and the bo...

Fair point - although very easily solved in my opinion! The seats from HP will help, an extra block of toilets and a burger van on the far side.

Re: People Leaving at HT
Anyone who left at HT (if they did) because of a poor view and the fact they couldn't get a decent priced burger is obviously a right moron. The fans have paid for this ground and it's as good as we could get with the money and it's a damn lot better than traipsing through to Bishop every game. Not ...

Re: inept bordering northern league at best
The players read this message board. Don't think they need to come on here to read that they are shite. The players know themselves that yesterday wasn't good enough and I'd bet a lot of money that we bounce back on Saturday - that's what this team do. Give your head a shake and get behind the lads ...

Re: Quarterly Review
People begging for Carts previous to Bradford cannot still be suggesting he deserves the nod over Hardy, who came on and did what strikers do, Cartman should've had a goal or two before Hardy even had the chance to come on. Cartman will play a big part this season and I wish he'd stay off twitter a...

Asked about him on the Gateshead forum. Basically - he is too good for this level and the only reason he left Gateshead is because he was advised by his agent that both Kilmarnock and Northampton wanted him. He didn't let Gateshead know and it pissed the club off. Deals to Kilmarnock and Northampton...

Also Gray likes to get players who haven't reached there peak. If by peak you mean highest level they have played at then I would disagree. Gray signs players who will improve the team in the long run regardless of whether or not they have reached their peak. Alan White, Liam Hatch, Phil Turnbull a...

So.. Scott, Hunter, Brown, Mitchell, Galbraith, Lovegreen and Thompson have just signed new deals. I believe Hardy, Turnbull, Burgess, Jameson? and Cartman all have existing deals. What is the situation with the other players and their contracts - Portas, Kowski, Purewal (read that he will be stayin...
