Chester & Romford MPs have both written to Oliver Dowden on the issue.
Don’t know if the sport loving MP for Darlington will be doing likewise but it shouldn’t be too much to expect.

Re: Home Kit Vote
As someone else has I think has pointed out not dissimilar to a Vasco Da Gama away shirt. https://www.footyheadlines.com/2020/08/vasco-da-gama-20-21-home-away-kits.html?m=1 I didn’t vote for this one - I went for the (broken) hoops option, but I am more than happy with it and I have to say that the ...

Re: Home Kit Vote
Or we could just let those with the professional qualifications on running a business get on with it as we mandated them to do at both the DFC and DFCSG AGM’s. There are many intricacies to choosing and working with a supplier, price is probably one of the more straightforward. Having previously be...

Re: Home Kit Vote
Why not spilt the difference between hoops and plain White by going back to the 1970s shirt with 3 bands across the chest? Nop, lets have the 66-68 not the 68-71. The thinner hoops on the first shirt looked far more "proper". The second effort always looked a bit "frumpy" and "washed out" to me. Th...

1 & 3 for me. I am definitely not wedded to the “hoops are our traditional kit” ideology and if we are looking for a throwback to our other “traditional” strip ie a white shirt with possible black highlights (collar and cuffs in the past) I think the Spanish Futsol top with white replacing red and b...

Re: New kit manufacturer
Personally I am happy that the board are dealing with this, and that they believe it is the best deal for the club is good enough for me. Merchandise like the shirts are to make money for the club as well as letting fans show there support. This season is the first time I have not bought a home shi...

Re: New kit manufacturer
Something like this with two black hoops & (obviously) a space between them would make a change from the front of shirt half hoops we have now and be a little reminiscent of the 1960’s change to hoops (made at the time I think to give us a change from what was then seen as the traditional white shir...

That’s a great amount, what percent do the gofundme firm take? Anyone. They ask for a "voluntary" donation to gofundme when you make a donation. I think that the minimum you can select from their dropdown list of options which I think are all expressed in percentage terms, is 5%. I don't know if yo...

The Hutchison Telecom sponsored Green & Black hooped shirt is the best one for me. Looked very classy especially in floodlit games (or so it seems to me now, thinking back)

Darlington residents probably know about this already but I’ve just seen it on Facebook so thought it worth a share.

Re: Darlo TV
Everyone involved in the planning, set-up and presenting it to the fans on the day should feel a lot of pride in what they achieved. A brilliant start to this venture which I'm sure involved a tremendous amount of work and took a toll on the nerves  I can't imagine there are many (any) better...

The interview is superb A huge thanks to DJ, Chris Stockdale and everyone else involved. We are incredibly fo...

Sensible decision from the league and brilliant work from David Johnson and all those who worked behind the scenes to achieve it.
Thanks again to them for the action taken to allow Darlington supporters to get to see the team play in the current difficult circumstances.

Unbelievable stuff on his Twitter about Newcastle https://mobile.twitter.com/Gibbo4Darlo/status/1293855035248517120 And some blunt replies when questioned by darlo fans! BBC commentators have said that they are surprised at just how busy the “press” area is and also at just how many “stewards” are present at the play off final.

Re: North West based Darlington fans
I tend to decide quite late about going to games and sometimes stay for a drink in Darlington after the match so the time I want to leave the town varies so I will be sticking with the train even though it does cost more.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

Since this shirt was decided by such a small (almost Brexitesque) majority do we now get a vote on the real shirt the team will be wearing next season with proper hoops and whatnot?

Well I am happy with any of the remaining three.
All reminiscent of past big name shirts - Netherlands, Germany and Dortmund.
