Yes, it was the CIC more than the 1883.Maurice_Peddelty wrote:The CIC no longer exists but when I pointed it out was told it was not easy to changeComfortably_numb wrote:The 1883?
If so....yes
Can't be that difficult to remove it from the ad rotation list.

Re: Durham Challenge Cup
I might be mistaken but I don't think it was the County Cup which imposes player selection that was the Doodson League Cup which said 5 players had to have appeared on one of the last 5 league team sheets. Premier League sides just field their full u23 sides. That could be where I got it from, sorry.

Re: York city
They'll be plenty going that don't attend BM on a regular basis. That's a bit concerning isn't it. That people would rather shell out extra (train tickets) and pay money to our competitors / opponents than come to our own home games? That logic just feels backwards to me. Do you know any who do thi...

Re: You Tube/web site revenue
As Kev says the actual revenue from clicks is minimal but there's a chance that some goofy own goal or something could make the video go viral in which case it's important we own the best quality recording of that, which brings me back to the question I made on another thread: Can we stick a crappy ...

Re: Durham Challenge Cup
In previous seasons I think we put our youth team in along with the minimum required number of qualifying first team players. I'm not sure if players such as Burgess and Portas will qualify as first team players unless they get named on a first team sheet before the cup game.

Interesting to see that there are zero links up on the VNL website for video highlights of any of yesterday's games... in any of the three divisions.

Re: York city
Have seen a bit of York over the past few months as my lad is a fan, to be honest they're not a great footballing side and more often than not resort to playing balls into the box for Jon Parkin who puts himself about a bit and causes defenders problems. They rested him today and played Rankine up ...

Re: No match thread!
From everything I've seen and read, it's obvious this is going to be a tougher league than last season. Gainsborough looked a much sharper outfit than last time around and have clearly strengthened well, like many of the clubs in the league including Saturday's opponents, Alfreton, who have signed ...

No, I think we just took our foot off the gas while we tackled all the other things which need doing at this time of year. It'll pick up once we start pushing it again. Don't like being too pessimistic, BUT... what if it doesn't? We have got to be realistic now and as it stands funds have dried up,...

Re: Bradley Fewster
I don't think the fundraising has dried up. It seems to me that, with our limited resources, we can only focus on one or two things at a time and a Summer lull gave way to a push for season tickets, the need to get DFCSG membership renewals moving a little earlier (because processing all those renew...

Maybe it was just that he got held up in traffic? He said he was driving over and seemed overjoyed with the result on Twitter.shawry wrote:The way he posted on Twitter before the game was that he was expecting to play, so was surprised to see him not on the bench at least.

It was Salfords I watched on the national north website But they get the clicks, not Salford. Salford aren't allowed to put them on their YouTube page until Monday, by which time not so many people will want to watch them. There are only 4 highlights on there Southport,Alfreton,Kiddy and Salford Ye...

Re: Match highlights
On the National League site a few minutes ago, only 3 out of the games in our league have highlights available. Wonder if that is down to the clubs not meeting the deadline, or the League not making them available yet? Just out of interest I tried to watch the Wrexham v Macclesfield highlights and ...

Those who have been whinging about not enough time for general sales should have joined the DFCSG then they would have had more choice or could have picked them up at the match. Some people just don't get it and probably never will. It'll always be us and them as far as their relationship with the ...
