Re: Tamworth V Darlington Match Thread
Sunderland away please. We get a split of the ticket money, let’s say 25,000 at £10 a pop, we’d be £125,000 richer!

Re: FA Cup
FA Cup draw tomorrow! I love this competition and am ready to be gutted at going out early once again. Nevertheless, who does everyone fancy? Possibly a good local tie: Stockton, Whitby, Morpeth, Marske/Scarborough, Dunston/Sunderland RCA, and South Shields and Thornaby in replays too. As a manc ex...

Also, did the ball cross the line around 60 minutes in when it hit the post and the keeper clawed it out? I and many others thought it was, it’ll be interesting to see Kev’s replay...

Re: Gateshead game...
Not sure if many others noticed, but AA’s reaction after we scored was to jump up and punch the air. Not saying it means much but it’s nice to have a manager that’s clearly passionate about the club again, it’s the little things.

Re: Lee Clark
But let’s face it, his career has been on a downward trajectory. He was in the Championship only five years ago so it’s quite a drop. That was my initial thought, quite a significant drop in quality since he managed Birmingham, and he's been out of management for two years. I'd rather have someone ...

Re: Signings
End of May and I'm already happier with this year's recruitment than last year's, with two months to go until the season starts. We're signing players from around this area who have already proven that they are good enough in this division and have already worked well with each other at Blyth. The o...

Re: Signings
Spennymoor ‘share an interest’ in the players we’re looking at. I’m starting to genuinely think they do it out of spite, not as if they need a 7th centre back or a 4th striker

Re: New Manager Interviews this week
Very happy with this appointment. I don’t really understand some people that are complaining about him being annoyed about the budget situation at Blyth. He was expected to put a side together from the Northern League because of significant budget cuts, I’d be alarmed if a National League North mana...

Would it not make more sense to have 20 teams in NLN this season and 24 NLS teams?
I know the National League don’t do that thing called ‘common sense’ but it was just a thought I had

Two National League North managers that previously played for Darlo? Armstrong and Bower? Doesn't explicitly say the two NLN managers are also ex-Darlo, but it's not a big leap to work out those two names. I would like to see continuity for next season, no good ever came from chopping and changing. Would anybody really trust TW this summer with another decent budget, especially given that the budget is being cut again placing a greater emphasis on quality over quantity next season?
