Great news. Giving Hunter and Portas pre-season to show their worth sounds a sensible decision too. So if Brown and Scott are gone, hopefully we can move on Caton, Mills, Burgess and Marrs. That hopefully leaves some space to bring in a striker and keeper as priorities and then see what happens wit...

Great news IMO.

Portas and Hunter I think will be invited back to pre-season as both are out of contract I believe.

That would leave question marks on Marrs, Burgess and Caton.

Brown and Scott in particular have been fantastic servants for the club and have really epitomised what this football club is about in the last 6 years.

Regarding the out-of-contract players I guess we will find out soon as contracts expire on the 5th of May.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing us take up the extra year on Gillies but that would depend on other outgoings.

Although we weren't at our best today, we still created chances and were the better team overall despite playing less than 48 hours earlier.

I think that the temporary seats should be priced up to be moved, after all we did pay for them and the whole idea IIRC was to improve the view/experience whilst we were at Heritage Park.
