Re: Leamington v Darlington

Just looked like a fair result. Two sides that opened each other up, neither of which looked very solid when put under pressure. It probably summed up where we are as a team. We can knock the ball about fairly well on occasions but we don't look a consistently well drilled, solid side, especially w...

Re: REECE STYCHE TRANSFERRED TO ALFRETON CONFIRMED

I've heard that Alfreton paid 60k for Reece. Tops what we paid last season & also takes a hefty wage off the wage bill. If that is correct then how can we refuse that sort of figure at our level, plus it gives Harvey a great chance to develop with extra games. No brainier IMO. Sent from my iPad usin...

There was no luck about it, just hard work from an honest group of lads. I had no doubts about TW, hopefully now we have steered to calmer waters, we will start to see what our team is capable of. Rock on Tommy. I still think we have a very decent squad of players to improve even further and I woul...

People seem to forget that Galbraith was moved to centre half because he was always getting caught out at left back. Totally disagree, when was he always getting caught out at left back.We need more physicality in the team and certainly worth moving Ben O’Hanlon forward would be worth considering a...

I'd be amazed if Styche isn't in the starting line up. is it going to take injuries to force TW into playing the formation we think is a success? I'd imagine when TW signed Ainge he told him he'd be playing every game - and may well have said the same to Styche. I was stood directly behind in line when their left back scored yesterday - as soon as he hit it I could see it was going in - it was a cracker to be fair and I doubt many keepers at this level of football would have saved it. Regarding our formation, Kev Luff made a point which I agree with re: our formations and particularly with regard to 4-4-2. It could work for us, but only with 2 stonking centre halves. We have found one in Hughes. If Terry Galbraith can be the other and these two can form a good partnership, and o...
