Not sure about Liam Hardy but that Arran Wearmouth we were after is the double of the eyebrow kid from We're the Millers.

Would be interesting to see our total league record from the past 4 seasons! I reckon we have only lost around 20 in total?

Re: Scoreboard for Blackwell
We should have a wall at the entrance to Blackwell or as part of the new stand where you can purchase a brick for X amount of money. Brick has your name or whatever engraved on it. Offer it fans of both Clubs and it's a decent money maker.

I was on Facebook and saw and article with an update on the return to Darlo. Didn't realise the article was from March 3rd 2015!! No idea why it was on my news feed today..

Re: 250 tickets for Salford game
The VIP lot etc should be able to buy tickets up until kick off on Tuesday and then season ticket holders after that. I work Monday to Friday and can't get to the club shop during the week.. I understand that people are going to miss out, obviously there's only 250 tickets but disappointing as I was...

Re: Waste Auckland V Darlington FC Cancelled
Co-incidence that Shildon v Ashington has to be replayed as a player did not have international clearance? The same game Bell came on for them. If that's correct then that means he will have played 3/4 league games without international clearance. Points deduction coming our way?! Shildon have said ...

Re: Lee Gaskell signs
Interesting to see where he's going to fit in around Army, Cartman and Amar whenever he returns? Out of the current forward line I can see Cartman making way for him. Don't think Gray would leave out Cartmen for any other reason than to rest him. One of the first names on the team sheet for me, doe...

Re: Ryan Brobbel signs for Quakers
My first thought was exactly that. Who though? Thommo been playing every game and hitting form, Youhill not had his chance with injuries and is just coming back, Bell just signed and surely he can't get rid of Mitchell who is technically a class above. If any of them are leaving I can only see it be...

Re: Anybody know who I need to contact within the club
I have read this week of plans by Bayern Munich to have two sets of mascots walk out with the team, with each player holding the hands of a German child and that of an asylum seeker to show their support for the current global crisis. Is this something that our club could do? I know it's on a much s...

Re: Bishop Auckland v Darlington
Lewis Gibbons is playing RB and according to twitter is doing very well. Also seems to have had a lot of game time for someone on trial - I reckon Gray has wanted to sign him but hasn't been able to fit him in to the midfield. If he does sign we have cover in Lovegreen and Mitchell.

Re: Whitby Town v Darlington FC
We booked in pre season games based on having a proper reserve team - that's not happening now (I think it's more youth than reserves). A few games were cancelled because of this but we have still had plenty. We don't really have that many forwards crying for game time aside from Dowson and Cartmen....

Re: Darlington v Consett AFC Match Thread
Think its pretty clear how important it is that we score early/first. Every game we've scored first we've won, in the other games it seems to have taken us a while to score, but after that we've gone on to score 3/4. The longer our games go without a goal from us the more I worry, but I think this i...

He's been playing for Stokesley and before that, Norton... What does that say? Ability clearly went to his head, and I don't think he even stood out for those two. If I remember rightly Todd subbed him 15 minutes into a game away at Lincoln as he was just stood around with his hands in his pockets, ...

Just starting my second season with Darlo in League 2. Wage budget cut from 18.5k to 14k . I still believe we can win, and I am happy with the results and performances... But his selections have been bemusing to say the least. Half the liverpool team is in there and they were rubbish this season.

Re: England squad - who would you take?
Roy for me picked a pretty good squad, i'd of made very little changes, for instance Richards would of been in there from the start. But I'm losing faith in him already, some of his replacements have been dreadful, Kelly and Henderson are average in an average team and Jageilka is not a midfielder s...

Re: Short list
Wouldn't shock me if we saw a few ex-darlo players who have dropped down since leaving.. Richard Hodgson for instance, been playing lower league football for years and at 32 would give us experience! At Crook Town at the minute, even though thats Division two I wouldn't mind him back.
