I see they require a minimum of licence A so it excludes a lot of Academy people.

Quakersfan ,is this not just you speculating and hoping you'll be close to getting something right for a change, I think your just taking a punt on what might happen and claiming it as fact heard from a good source.as you usually do.
Just what I’ve heard that’s all.

Re: Assistant Manager, Alan White

Head of Academy about to be advertised apparently, feel sorry for Whitey TBH as he has to apply for the role. I’m beginning to think the club has a money tree or is this the extra money raised above the target of £80K to pay for other staff. Perhaps SuperLes can confirm?

Re: Assistant Manager, Alan White

I thought I’d read somewhere (possibly at a fans forum) that AW wasn’t doing the academy as he didn’t have the right qualifications to run on his own, therefore TW did it. Happy to be corrected Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk He took his qualifications at the back end of last season so he should...

Re: Notes from the fans' forum

The next plan simply has to be long term. Even if it’s going to take 10 years to come to fruition the objective has to be for us to have autonomy of our own ground whether we physically own it or not as long as there is a very long term lease on it. Short term success is great but if it’s not under...

Re: Notes from the fans' forum

Big thanks for that Gramps. So Laing coming in, and possibly Maguire and Jameson. Heck, we'd not need a whole lot else beyond loan moves at that point , would we? A modest and attainable target, and i hope we set up to play some attacking football. I see this Sporting Village is still hanging like ...

Re: Fans Forum Fri May 31st

Really enjoyed last night, very honest open answers. Have to say the comment by a fan in respect to BM hospitality food upstairs was a bit unfair. As a regular the food has improved since the turn of the year. Slagging them off is not going to improve the situation any time soon.

Looking forward to this one, firstly to hear AA’s view on squad and DJ update on Sports Village/Blackwell as it appears to have gone very quiet on that front.

I'm amazed that nobody has bothered to mention the Northern Echo article this morning, that Steve McClaren was involved in the final say and was one of the people at the second interviews. wow. Wasn't it well known that a North Eastern based manager with experience from higher up the league's was i...

Agreed a few weeks ago to go to Hereford. There’s no way we could afford his wages with new budget. Attraction of AA is he can work wonders with a small budget, hopefully he can but we won’t know until Sept/Oct at the earliest so let’s just get behind him.

Re: Boost The Budget 19/20

BTB is just money into the pot. We have expected revenue + BTB. Then remove expected costs and what's left is the budget, with hopefully some wriggle room left over this time - if we have learned from last season. The beauty of BTB is the money comes in each month so on quiet months you have an inc...

I’ve got every confidence in Jonathan Jowett our company secretary and John Vickerman advising on everything HR would have checked all this out before any contract was offered as that’s both their day jobs.

Great interview, said all the right things, if we could get a cup run even better; nice to hear he sought advice from Hodgy would love to see him him around occasionally on match days.

Re: Alun Armstrong

Excellent news. Two top 10 finishes in this division to his name, and a promotion too suggests a good pedigree at this level. Provided he’s willing to work with the budget given, then this could be an excellent appointment. Also, the people running the process deserve huge credit. The last time out...

Spenny will have a bigger squad than Chelsea soon. One way or another there's sure to be some good players becoming available.
Yeah there’ll certainly be a few players available for Shields to pick up for a fee.
I reckon we will get Laing & Rivers, Spenny and Shields have big pockets

Re: New Manager Interviews this week

Personally out of the names suggested I reckon it will be Alun Armstrong he’s unhappy at Blyth so will likely bring his whole team and a raft of players with him. The good news for me is he won’t want to tread water so we should see an exciting season coming up. Personality wise he’s more MG than TW...

I think one thing is for sure. Based on Andy Toman's outbursts, we can safely say he didn't make the shortlist.
His reaction shows whoever didn’t choose him for an interview was totally correct, even Super Les would agree with me we missed a bullet there.

Presumably John Saddington is actually John Vickerman, the HR guy who's been running the process? Either way, quakersfan is demonstrating his/her anti-DFCSG agenda again. Heard tonight initial interviews were done by Chris Stockdale, John Saddington and Jon Woolnough, not sure when DJ will be involved, possibly 2nd interviews. Very clear though that the DFCSG are in full control of the recruiting process.

We need a midfield spoiler as we were too light weight, hopefully we will ha...
