Re: Gray's first 3 years - Echo article

Heard similar at DVD launch though no idea how accurate. Apparently the guy is insisting everything is done exactly as he wants it. While I can appreciate we don't want to upset the rugby club before we even move in there comes a time when we need to put our foot down so to speak.

Thanks Charlie - that explains why nothing has started yet. And I wasn't flapping, just wondering as I thought the charity thing was last weekend and had been told work would start straight afterwards.

B.M. Update needed?

It's now 4 weeks since the football ended and there has been total silence from the club with regard to B.M. Work was supposedly due to start on the pitch at the end of May but, as of yesterday, there was no sign of anything happening at B.M. Something, even just a short statement, from the club wou...

Cannot believe we didn't know about this pipe and checked it out. Surely it was on the original plans for B.M.

They didn't look 16 to me. At least 18+, some of them were squaddies. Now the lads that got punched they were no more than 15. It was a disgrace. The stewards took a few punches and it looked to me that they were also turning on Darlo fans that were trying to intervene.* The "lady" stood next to me...

Re: The Clubs Image

Judging by Gary Brown's twitter, he had gone to there number 2 to shake hands and was told to **** off w****r The no 2 spent a lot of the 2nd half winding up a group of supporters near the main stand. One of them was yelling at the ref and he said something back which made everyone who heard even m...

Re: Groundshare Agreed

Car park needs to be laid on the big field to the right hand side of the existing drive way. Has that been declared as needed for the start of the season? Plenty of ground we go to (and have been to in the league) don't have any car parking facilities* *Outside of maybe 20 spaces for a few players ...

Rugby club website, dated mid Feb, said EGM postponed and new date would be announced
later. May be further details I have not seen though.

Ground share vote

Anyone know why it has been delayed and will it be held before our 31 March cut off for next seasons playing details? Will it mean another season at HP or could we move so far through?
Really hope there is not some major problem come up that no one is telling us about!

Well think we might be screwed.
Who actually owns/is responsible for this land? Also thought there was a barrier in place to stop just this kind of problem after we paid to Tarmac it last year!

What about 1 or 2 representatives of those people who bought shares directly plus someone from the supporters club (who have 15 percent ) joining the DFC board. At least that way we might find out more about what was going on.

I.T. help please - re uncovered

Since last night the uncovered forums & topics are taking an eternity to load up on ipad (though the rest of the site - news, stats etc - are ok ). Other web sites are ok with the exception of the Darlo official site and uncovered is ok on the old laptop. Is the problem with my ipad, ipads in general...

Re: Extension granted

Seems pretty certain that they'll still be eligible, although he did say that it wouldn't matter as we are going to win the league on Saturday anyway. But that can only happen if Spenny drop points. Seems an odd thing for him to be so definite about. Does MA know something we don't ? Possible point...

Could it be a NL extension but not an FA one. No promotion for Spenny but we may not be officially champions by the FA meeting so could miss out as well.

Re: What would the Northern Leage do if.........

Surely if they wanted to withdraw their promotion application it had to be done by end of March. I honestly think they will not play those last 4 matches before May 6 and they expect the N.L. to let them get away with it. They do not care about promotion, all they want is t o win the vase and other ...

What would the Northern Leage do if.........

Spenny don't play their last 4 matches by May 6 but we don't have enough points to make them irrelevant. Don't suppose the N.L have a rule to cover this but I can't see the N.L. making Spenny play them before the vase and they will never fit in another 4 matches after the vase. I know the F.A. will ...

Article also says FA meeting May 8 to determine step 4 allocations so promotion teams must be nominated by midnight May 7. Spenny can't play any later!

Re: Spenny's backlog

What would happen if they just didn't play those last 6 matches before May 4 ?
Would the FA regard them as defeats and take the league table on May 4 as final?
Would the northern league then allow them to play them later and give them a chance to retain their title?

Maybe Fordy's cut price deal on admin/postal charges from ticketmaster is the reason everyone is having so much trouble with a normally reliable organisation.

Remember - if you pay peanuts you end up with monkeys !! Just a thought.

Too early to panic?

Hi everyone - new poster here

Bought my trophy tickets lunchtime on the first day but they haven't arrived yet while some who bought later have got theirs. Anyone else in this position or should I start to
panic. (I've never used ticketmaster before so I don't know how they work)
