Something obviously going on behind the scenes with Wheatley as it's not an injury or loss of form.Would not surprise me in the least if you know who has come sniffing again. If I was a gambling man, that's where my money would go.Hope I'm wrong.

We all know who will be in for him Adam, particularly as he has only signed 3 strikers in the last couple of months.Vodka_Vic wrote:TW told us at Bradford that he doesn't like it there and wants to come back. All his mates are there. Could we afford the wages?

Re: Joe Wheatley
Seems to be a few rumours around that Gray is sniffing around Wheatley. No idea if any link to him not playing today or if the above is true but as the York fans say they have no midfield then it wouldn't be a total surprise. Would not surprise me in the least. If Gray wants him then let's get a goo...

Re: Darlo help Spennymoor Town out
I seem to remember the crowds at the arena being equally shocking until we played Gateshead in the semi's so I wouldn't criticise something that we are also guilty of Would we only get 559 fans if we were playing for a semi final place.Don't think so somehow. The support or lack of it that Gateshead...

Sure we signed him from Ramsbottom and think he was at Bamber Bridge when Gray brought him in.Vodka_Vic wrote:Wasn't he at Bamber Bridge at the time?

He played for us in a friendly against Shildon and was injured in the next game I think then seemed to have been forgotten.MG never followed up his interest so good on Tommy to sign him from Ramsbottom.

I really rate Heaton and I'm sure there will be plenty of clubs will be looking at him over the remainder of the season. Thanks Josh for putting your faith in the club and giving us the opportunity to benefit from you're progress up the leagues. Spot on Pete and huge credit to Tommy and Alan for th...

Re: Salford v Tamworth
My secret is..........I had Salford live on Mixlr for the last 5 minutes. Glad I did. Their commentator went utterly mental. It was worth it for that. Great result for us Adam, that is the main thing but Salford seem as though they have mugged Tamworth by nicking it at the death after Tamworth misse...

It's great that we have a plethora of decent centre halfs, something we've not had for quite a while. I wouldn't put Browny out into the long grass, he's got plenty to offer and he is a great leader. Totally agree Pete, Browny is a leader and teams need this and we have always had a few in our team...

Disagree about Gary Brown, still good enough IMO and would keep him but Tommy will have 4 centre halves plus Tezz and Chris Hunter so surprised if he does not move someone on.

Couldn't care less about the 3 of them to be honest and just wonder where they all end up when the wheels come off at York. Don't lie - you comment all the time on them. You're one of a select group of people on here who comment every single time York lose a match. Genuinely, any thread on York, yo...

Happy with that result as Nuneaton have really hit form and looks like Telford are now in big trouble.A draw would be a good result when we go there.

We are too far away to nab a place in the playoffs, even with excellent form hereon, but I'd simply like to see a strong top-half finish that leads to a strong start next season, when it will matter most. and a storming finish will encourage more to contribute to the Boost the Budget. Must admit Ad...

My lad wanted a pint at half-time and joined the queue before the end of the first half. Was finally served just as the second half was kicking off. The whole situation at york seems to be one big mess. Youve got fans having a go at each other, fans having a go at players, players slagging off fans, fans and the owner at loggerheads and a manager blasting his players as embarrassing. Is gray the man to bring harmony to a fractured club? Just le...

Just leaving the ground. You knew what was coming when you saw the team sheet. Our best 11 would probably have got a result against a pretty average side. Frustrating thing was that the first two goals were soft. Other results didn’t help to lighten the mood but on the other hand it looks like more...

Trotman, Wheatley and Heaton have all been signed up to the week long V9 Academy trial this summer where scouts from clubs all across Britain come to watch. I see million-pound-plus bankroller Brad is now asking the fans to help fund the ground developments that they are racing to complete by March 31. They are putting in 503 seats in the stand behind the goal which will take the seated capacity of the ground to 753 and are increasing the capacity of t...
