Only three weeks to go before our first home game. Are the club going to have any test events as I'm sure these have to have taken place before the season starts.
thought i read they were planning a home friendly as a test event on 26th September

BBC News - Fans attending sporting events in England from October to be reviewed, says Prime Minister https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/54094363 I think politics is very relevant to us. Not very promising noises being made. One of the things I'm slightly disappointed with, is that the league seems to hav...

Good to see you taking a positive view of things. Most of us will just be happy to be playing again. I agree with Ghost, fixtures are shite. However I will feel different once we come round to games going ahead. When ghost says fixtures are shite wonder if he also picked up Hereford away on Easter ...

The two trial events mentioned in the interview. These involve 300 persons for one then 600 for the other. Do I suppose that these will be hastily arranged pre-season friendlies that a few supporters will be allowed to attend to test the arrangements for social distancing? will depend on the govern...

Yeah think you are right although won't be too far midweek for first game, league know they have part time teams so normally try and keep midweek travelling down as much as possible.

Harrogate have chosen to tear up their pitch and groundshare for as long as it takes because they want to play at a higher level and they are not being asked to repay the huge grants they have been given. They could have just opted to stay in the National League, it was their choice not to. You are...

17% of 6,000 is 1,020. I would hope it isn’t capped at that, as, I imagine, it wouldn’t break even.

It’s all conjecture though. We may not even get FA approval.

you would hope DJ has done his maths before making his ideas public?

Re: Ground share

Wasn't a substantial amount of that revenue still parachute money from the EFL? I thought we used to get £1m+ from solidarity when in the league. I don't know what parachute payments were 10 years ago mind. Wasn't £250k of the 2011 turnover from the sale of Dan Burn also? It's not being ignored. It...

I’m not going to any games at the arena. It would be nice for the fans to be consulted on this before it comes out in this manner. We’re supposed to be a fan owned club. Re: Ground share

At one point DJ mentioned capacities between 17% and 33% which I assume means 17% (550) with 2m social distancing and 33% if it’s 1m. If so, government advice is that where 2m is not possible then 1m with mitigation i.e. face masks, not standing face to face, is acceptable. So could we make face co...

getting drawn away in each round to a lower league side would cost us money in expenses with travelling as I`m sure the prize money if we won would not be much especially with no gate money as well would be better than paying expenses for refs, stewards, catering and any other extras even if BCD. Would be a predicament for the club in the selection of season ticket holders who would be allowed to attend if capacity limited to 300 as I think we have already sold 500. Would it not be fairer if we have to limit numbers to base it on last season’s average attendance ?
