Re: Centre Half Problem For Wembly
From what I've read, nobody at the club has actually confirmed the operation (though i may have missed something), all that has been said is that he is struggling with the injury!

Re: favourite ever darlo player
This is difficult though I have it down to 2
Big Jason DeVos and Joey Hutchinson
Its interesting to see how many people have gone with the more recent players, I know mine arent from too long ago, but it seems most are within the last 5 years!

Re: Dan Burn - Medical
This is correct, otherwise please explain how Jens Lehmann was eligable to play for Arsenal yesterday even though he didnt sign for them until March? A free agant can sign and play for a club outside the transfer windows as long as he has only been registered as a permanent player by 1 team that sea...

Re: Dan Burn - Medical
It's a registration window rather than a transfer window strictly speaking. What do you mean? Extrapolate. The player can be signed but not registered to play until July 1st. If Dan Burns contract with Darlington expires on 30th April, he can be registered by and play for anyteam this season as of ...

Re: Dan Burn - Medical
Correct, so in fact you could sign free agent conference players on May 1st, rather than waiting until the end of the domestic league season. As long as a player hasnt already had his registration held by 2 seperate teams (not including loans) during that season you can sign them at any time you li...

Re: Dan Burn - Medical
Not only that, quite a few conference clubs have their players contracted until APRIL 30th, not June 30th. This is because contracts are often 44 weeks rather than 52 at this level, to save money. I know York reverted to 10 month contracts a few seasons ago, don't know if this is currently the case...

Re: Dan Burn - Medical
whats the point in him having a medical anywhere? he can't sign for anyone until july! There will be plenty of pre-contract agreements being signed up and down the country until the transfer window reopens, medicals at this point in time are not uncommon, if we receive acceptable offers from other ...

They appear to be going amber when you can no longer book 12 in a row, 106 is amber and you can still book 11, but 107/112 are green and you can book 12

Re: Penalty or not????
the player started pulling on grays shirt when he was outside the box, so if he was going to give anything, it would have probably been a free-kick. if the offence carries on into the box then he would give a penalty. Yep if a trip occurred outside the area and he fell down inside the area, a free ...

Re: Crawley review - player ratings
Why change anything? If it ain't broken, FFS don't try and fix it. If it goes pear shaped then maybe try your suggestion, but at the moment we are building a run nicely, the players know what they are doing and what is expected of them. You are forgetting that we have played 2 of the top 3 clubs (t...

Re: Ticket Office Complaint (Again!!!)
Lets stop to think about this for a second. We dont actually know who we are playing until midweek, therefore tickets cant be printed as they have to show the opposition on there, and, correct me if im wrong, but do the FA not specify when tickets can go on sale for the cup? I'm sure the club are do...

'Whats wrong with smallish keepers? Knight is the same height as an certain Mr Collett, didnt do Andy any harm being small did it!' Smallish keepers tend not to command their area, from what I've seen of Knight; he doesn't. I was a big Collett fan and Knight has a long way to go to be compared to h...

Re: David Knight
I wasn't there tonight but............ It'll take a lot for him to win me over. Two things I like to see in a keeper, height and bravery. I dont believe Knight has either. Someone once told me that good keepers at this level are two a penny. I'm certainly convinced that we could do better. Over to ...
