He’s bizarrely played at centre back this season for Boston so hopefully he can find some form back on the wing. I’m sure Beck will enjoy linking back up with him again.

Was not a fan of Sukar coming into the season, but credit to the lad, he has improved vastly now we are mixing it in the League. Obvs Wheater is class & this has rubbed off on both Sukar & Lawlor. They’ve been good mates since they were at Carlisle together. It’s between us and Shields for Beck.

If Beck were available it's a no brainer. Might be an over significant drop though - notice Gateshead have lost both their strikers this summer already - not sure he suits Williamson's preferred style of play mind. Turned down offers from other North East clubs from what I hear, really solid fullback so glad to hear he's signed for another year.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Griffiths and Hedley as fullbacks with Hope and another youngster as back up.

Probably wiser using Smiths wage elsewhere in the team and get a young replacement for cover.
