Part Time Loid, do remind me :- - Outcome of the 2 biggest games between Darlo & Pools in our history ? - How many trophies have you in your cabinet ? - Have you ever played at Wembley ? That is history and will always be with us. And with a bit of luck, it wont be that long before we play each othe...

Part, Priestly, Deller, Anderson, Whitlock, Webster...the list goes on, the vast majority did. I go to a few PDC events and whilst, yes the standard is far better, skys coverage and experts are great - there are too many danny dyer wannabees in the crowd these days at the PDC events - id say around ...

Re: Whatever Happened To....Steve Mardenborough?

Mark Burke had a lot of quality - however i always remember being slightly dissapointed with him - be interesting to know his stats for us ? maybe my expectations were too high. Regarding Mardenborough - my abiding memory was away at Maidstone in the Division 4 title winning season - game tied at 2-...

Anyone heard the new Martin rossiter album yet?

If so is it any good?
Supposed to be top drawer - only heard a couple of tracks, plan to buy it - just him and his piano

He's just finished a short UK tour, hopefully he'll do some more dates next yr.

Totally agree Quakermass - and there's probably more bars in the town centre nowadays? so the crowds are more spread out.. I remember when the likes of Blacketts, Yates, Green Dragon, Humphreys, Berlins ,Buzz were rammed. Even Harveys now is only rammed the occasional Saturday. You can still have a ...

Re: Mowden Park Rugby Club - The Arena!?

Fuck me. How messed up is it that a tiny rugby club ends up owning the Arena? Unbelievable. I'd be totally fine going back there to groundshare though. Darlington FC playing in Darlington is the most important thing, and pragmatically the Arena is by far the best way of doing that - at least in the...

Only drink Friday/Saturdays, use local (Shuttle or Springfield) regular and town centre - can understand why people do drink at home, but for me part of drinking is going out, enjoying an atmosphere/music etc... if im in at home say watching the footy, much rather have a can of coke than lager/beer.
