Re: Next steps for Blackwell Meadows
Darlington Council have no spare cash so we have to stand on our own when it comes to financing the future. We need to get a consensus of opinion in order to create a master plan that is realistic and enables a sustainable future. The new Board have done a good job in stabilising the club post MG, ...

Looks like on Twitter that Fans Radio is encouraging folks to listen rather than attend. Need to figure this out with the club for home games.

Raj Singh was involved in two Insolvency Event's with DFC. #1 March 2009 #2 January 2012 However luckily enough for himself & Hartlepool he escapes the cutoff date by one year & 5 months. FA Owners & Directors test Since 1 August 2010 I have not been an Officer of: (b) one Football Club or Parent U...

Is this guy for real!! Yep, I am. Feel free to disagree with me of course and I'll disagree with you. And feel free to challenge my point of view and explain why. But let's not have another thread descend into a bitchfest about me. It happens too regularly. So, why do you disagree with me? It was r...

However, can we all wait until we are safe before we hail tw as a managerial mastermind? I'm happy to admit I was wrong, and it's looking that way just now. But let's not get cocky. And one more thing. Can I just ask that all the people suggesting the players were inadequate and incapable of gettin...

Re: Monkey hangers
It depends if their major creditor digs their heels in or not. Assuming majority creditor is the current owner. If they agree to a 1p in the £1 CVA then there is a pretty easy escape for them. Surely only a highly vindictive owner would have a playoff between 1p in the £1 or 0p in the £1 (no CVA) a...

Most buyers would let it go into admin, ditch the debt and do a deal. Doesn’t sound promising for them. Same boat as us in that a buyer would need the FA membership transferred by the current controlling interest and to clear the football debt or they will be pushing up the Northern League next sea...

The thing is we are not getting outplayed by York and Harrogate, fine lines and really down to discipline and naivety. We have the players to get us up the table and we need to be set up differently to be more difficult to break down rather than too many attacking formations.Having said that, I stil...

Re: 500 Club Options to eliminate debt
You’re right Super Les, my Qs are coming over as technical, apologies. My concern is that this is the fourth debt problem we’ve had in five years and it shouldn’t be smooth talked under the table. The football club doesn’t have many debtors outside of wages and ground rent so there isn’t scope for j...

Re: 500 Club Options to eliminate debt
I’m sure when the accounts are published at the AGM that will be clear. At the moment the club is offering fans the chance to extend season tickets in order to structure and consolidate the debt position not tapping everyone up to clear the debt. The outcome will be the same in that a certain amoun...

Re: 500 Club Options to eliminate debt
If the club is to be asking for funds to repay debt it’s important we are given a clear picture as to the true cash position, are we being asked to fund: 1. Delayed cashflow due to postponed games, 2. Debts to individuals who helped the club previously 3. Debts to contractors from the ground improve...

If we were to move from Blackwell Meadows the rugby club's long term future would be in doubt. They need us as much as we need them, it's time both parties sorted this out to preserve the future of the rugby and football club. This is bang on. Better to be hooked up with an amateur rugby club than ...

We’ve spend a small fortune developing BM into a National League ground, nearly. Yet we are not committed further depending on the councils view on a development at the Arena. Tell you what, the board needs to give it’s head a bloody good shake on that one.

Re: Public Meeting - 11/12/2017
To be honest the budget needs to be done way in advance of knowing what the total amount of season ticket revenue will be and also there are so many additional variables such as ongoing gate receipts that mean it's not really that helpful. You do need some people to pay upfront as there is expendit...

It’s more fundamental than this. The club seems to consistently operate on a basis of spending more than it has. I don’t believe that any one of the previous CEOs would run their own business or personal finances this way. It simply has to stop.
