Re: BBC story
what I find fascinating with all these new stories of clubs not being allowed to play due to the ground issues is that it highlights how easy it has been to miss interpret the rules. We have fans who are baying for blood with our board but we are not the only ones who have made this mistake just say...

Re: Poole Town Play Off Issue and Darlo
Seriously guys come on this public execution of our board is uncalled for yes questions need answering but without these guys and the hours they put in and I mean hours we are talking 30-40 hours a week then we would not be able to watch a game of footy this weekend. Give these guys the respect they...

This does need answering however the fact Martin Gray was so adamant that we were going for it must be seen as a positive.

Totally agree 442 Gillies and Thommo on the wings Cartman and Beck up top play the free attacking football of October and early November and just go for it.

Re: Fans' Behaviour
As someone who attended the match yesterday there is no justification for the fans behaviour. There were mitigating circumstances ie Flyde allowing drinking on the terraces and a flippant attitude to selling alcohol to anyone. However a minority of the away support (I can't call them fans or support...

certainly going to be interesting to see what that budget will be given the 500 club season ticket money has been eaten up on getting back to Darlo. However you have to applaud the board for good housekeeping in regards to living within our means.

Re: When is the next fans forum
As I say from the outside looking in it would appear our board are doing a sterling job. A new partnership like this is always going to be tricky, it will always need a bit of give and take however it feels as a Darlo fan like we are doing all the giving and the rugby club are doing all the taking.

When is the next fans forum
As the title says, does anybody know when the next fans forum is planned for. It will be interesting to hear from the Directors of both the football club and the Rugby club in terms of how the 'partnership' is working. Might also help settle us the fans down where we are not privy to the inner worki...

Re: We won't quite make it....
Plays would be a great achievement and would certainly give us something to look forward to as the season draws to a close. I feel we are just a little vulnerable at the back to make that final step up this season. Looking to next season York City are in big trouble and are in real danger of droppin...

Re: Cartman Tweet
Cartman is by far our best striker. I'd be bitterly disappointed if he goes. Better than Beck? Can't agree with you I'm afraid. Totally disagree Pete, for me Beck is one dimensional he is a target man nothing else Cartman is much more intelligent he is a fox in the box but his link up play is also ...

I'm big fan of Pete's I think he has the ability to play higher but he does seem short on confidence and that is not a good place to be for a keeper. Every mistake he makes seems to end up in the back of the net whereas a forward or midfielder can miss chances or passes and nothing is said. That sai...

Re: Club accounts
I suppose because Hardy never really established himself it can be seen as a waste, but Cartman and Armstrong did so 2/3 isn't bad. Of those we've paid fees for, there's been very few who haven't made a significant contribution to our progress on the pitch and like was said above, I guess some calc...

Give the lad a chance, apart from the defence nobody covered themselves in glory up until when he went off. Putting him down after seeing him for 60 minutes is a bit OTT. Lacked a little bit of heart and belief for me today started brightly enough bit faded quickly. Might just be inexperience and m...

Noticed inside the bar yesterday, all the signage including the visual displays was for the rugby club, apart from a pop-up poster near the door. Heard Gloucester fans having a laugh in the bar, saying you wouldn't think a football club was playing their. And in that statement lies the problem the ...

Re: Marine v Darlington Match Thread
Gray summed it up correctly in the echo silly errors cost us. We started last night with a narrow midfield Gillies just behind carts n Hardy to be fair we looked decent going forward but our full backs were exposed by their wingers. It's a little unfair to tear into the defence given they were quite...

Re: Match thread today
After a night of reflection to let emotions settle I still feel the referee spoilt the game every time we built up a head of steam he would pull us up for fouls that he didn't give similar against Salford. Darlo made to many rash tackles early on the first goal was a silly free kick to give away no ...

Interesting point about the YouTube clips it does make it easier for the opponents to study us. Simple things like set pieces and penalties are easy to study off these clips. Perhaps we should turn our goals and extended footage into a small subscription service where the club makes a small contribu...

Can't argue against Hardy starting just personal opinon but as someone pointed out 4 in 6 is class form and doesnt deserve to be dropped. LEon was superb against FC united to the point where the game really changed once he was carded as their midfield started to boss the game as Leon couldnt put his...

Team for Kiddi tonight
Question would you change the starting line up or stick with what we had. The obvious question is around the fitness of Pete Jameson and Hardy or Cartman up top. However looking at Leon Scott on social media this week it looks like he has been in ibiza all week at a wedding, hopefully Portas is fit ...
