Any chance of us getting hold of their better players? Might not be a good idea though. Last time we asset stripped a club in financial trouble, we ended up with Clint Marcelle and Steve Harper.

Look guys. You've obviously got strong views about God, Jesus, Christianity etc but don't let that stop you from doing some good for the community. Only time will tell but if other clubs experiences (i.e. wimbledon, Chester) are anything to go by then attendances may well exceed this seasons.

I think many many disillusioned fans will return. Even in Evo Stick 1 an even in Shildon (insert alternative here). Let the adventure begin!

Yeah you've missed something. 1883 have bought the football club. It's the same DFC, it's not a Pheonix club. Raj started a new limited company in 2009 when he bought the club and Houghton did exactly the same when he took over. There's a new limited company but it's the same football club.

I'll be back as well after quite a few years away. Thanks to 1883 for all their hard work. They're a breath of fresh air. Let's get back to being a community focused club that the town can be proud of.
