Re: This BSP insanity
You try and run a stadium and a club that already makes a loss in league 2, in the conf.

Re: Signings
It's funny how many people were saying "on paper we've got a good team".
Experienced, apparently quality players (Fozzie, Bower, Smith) seem to lose the plot and the basics are out the window.
Dire first half and I can't see it getting better!

Re: TODD
I don't think there's anyone better though?
We'd be kidding ourselves thinking we can attract better here.

Re: A new era beckons for rebuilt Quakers
Successful football careers do not mean successful managers, as is continually shown in the PL.
Good read Divas.

Re: Lets not panic...
I think it's hard aswell to comprehend the drop in quality and the manner in which we've gone from a feared side in League 2 who will beat more teams than they lose agaisnt, to a team who is continually losing and can't muster a shot on target.

Todd was saying that, he's right aswell. Plummer deserves an opportunity and Fozzie can't be invincible.

Re: Mark Convery
I don't remember Jeff Smith running at his man once. Whilst I accept Chandler isn't a winger, he doesn't get out there enough and give us width. I don't want to compare it to last year, but I remember Purdie on the right wing pushing right out, even when the left back had possession. For me this did...

Re: Leeds Ratings
Knight - 5. Not great, unsure as to his ability even at League 2 level at the moment. Arnison - 7. Thought he got forward well and despite a few positional mistakes, did well considering opposition. Miller - 7. Solid enough, needs distance on his headers though! Foster - 6. Wasn't as commanding as h...

Re: Boro or Sheffield Utd
Erm, I'm pretty sure he'll be a cracking buy!
I vaguely remember him when he went on loan to Norwich, averaged a goal every other game for them in the Championship and that was a year or so ago. He will have only improved since then, I'd have paid that much given the opportunity!
Sheff Utd, btw.

Re: Slight O/T - Penney & Oldham
You don't remember, then, when Penney and a selection of the team went to Darlington Memorial Hospital to the children's ward at Xmas? Fair enough he didn't get out and about in the community but would it have really made that much difference anyway? The town have had plenty of opportunities to supp...
