Re: The bottom seven
Great to have you back Ginge, even though it's talking about our chances of avoiding relegation, rather than the usual push for promotion. After Saturday I am more optimistic of our chances of avoiding the drop and even if we do get relegated, I think we have the basics of a decent team that will be...

Re: Rugby League
As I said we were lucky with a couple of decisions that went our way, but you do make your own luck. I also agree that a different referee should have been appointed. The gap between the top clubs and the bottom clubs has never been so big as it is now. You may get to a point were Championship clubs...

Re: Darlington v Buxton
Saw Mark Prudhoe in the bar before the game, his legs look shot. I think he was coming to check up on the Sunderland keeper, as Prud's is involved in goalkeeper coaching at Sunderland. I guess he will have had good things to say about the keeper.

Re: Rugby League
Yes a great game, I think Wigan were a bit lucky with a couple of decisions, but our defence is world class and Bevan French and Jai Field are extra special. We were lucky with a couple of decisions, that could have gone the other way. I thought Penrith were very gracious in defeat and especially Na...

As the saying goes, "it's great to come from behind"!!! Poor first half, but we played really well in the second half.

Re: Boston v Darlington 20/02/24
I've spoken to a few Boston fans today and they are all surprised that we are near the bottom of the table. They thought we looked really good until they opened the scoring. Unfortunately it's not getting us points, even when we play well.

Re: Rugby League
Felt sorry for Castleford that the sending off shouldn't have happened. I think RL should adopt the same stance as Rugby Union, were there is a 10 minute period, were there is a revue and the decision is confirmed or the player returns after 10mins. Still Wigan did a professional job and rather worr...

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cv2080emm7eo Bit of inspiration. I've recently worked in Truro and met some Truro fans. They are excited about the future, although they are playing their home games in Plymouth and not Taunton. For home games, it's a 160 mile round trip. They are planning to have ...

I couldn't make today's game as on a stag do and I don't normally go to away games, but I feel like I should make the effort. So I'm going down to Boston on Tuesday evening and hoping for a similar performance to yesterday's.

The description of a regular poster on here suggests a certain person to me, and if it is who I think it is, it is about time that individual was banned for a long time, because he repeatedly brings the club into disrepute. You wouldn't be wrong in your assumption, he is a Darlo fan through and thr...

Re: Blood on hands/heads must roll
Before the next BTB, I'd like the club to confirm that the money put into the budget from other sources won't be cut. It seems that the more we put in, the money that comes from other sources and the club goes down. If we raise a record BTB, then we should have a record playing budget.

Re: Rugby League
Met an Oldham RL fan at the Darlo game yesterday. He reckons they will definitely win League 1 and their win yesterday at Championship side Barrow, perhaps gives his prediction some credence. Yes I agree it's completely ridiculous that the London Bronco's are likely to be relegated before the season...

Well we made the local news, for all the wrong reasons, allegations off racial abuse,.☹️ I passed just after the alleged incident had happened and a certain regular poster on here was ejected from the ground. I guess that person was lucky to miss most pf the second half, wish I'd left at the same t...

Great news for RL, as the BBC will show 15 SL league games over the season and also their continuing commitment to the Challenge Cup and the World Club Challenge. The first game will be next Saturday between Castleford and Wigan.

Best performance of the season by some way. Really liked how we didn't just to try and shut up shop. We looked for a second and we looked far more likely to score a second, than they looked to equalise. The defence was superb and TT didn't have much to do. Any neutral at the game would have thought ...

Terrible decision, the pitch was fine. The Scunny players were having a kick in front of the clubhouse and the ball was running fine. There was a bit of a fight in the second half, between some Darlo lads who had too much to drink and a small group of other fans. The Darlo fans assumed that this small group of fans were from Tamworth. I listened to what the small group was saying after the incident. It turned out that they support...

Re: v Tamworth
There was more fight in the bar, than on the pitch!! Thought we played some decent stuff, as others have said, but no luck in front of goal and we created very few real opportunities. Tamworth were very ordinary, but sometimes you just get the breaks.
