Re: RESIGNATION OF DRFC CHAIRMAN
It was seriously meant. We live in dangerous times, We all need to be careful, anyone who underestimates this virus is being foolish. There are a lot of foolish people out there, and worse even more selfish ones. I think the genuine real worry is that the season will start and then be suspended yet...

Although admittedly I had no intention of going maybe the 1o clock kick off also had an impact on a few people attending i.e people who work night shift.

Re: Latest friendly
I went to watch guisborough town play west Auckland on Wednesday night track and trace details were taken at the turnstiles. The members club had the tables well spaced out. Yet people were virtually less than one foot apart in the kiosk queue at half-time absolutely crazy.

My thanks go out to DJ, board members, volunteers who have worked very hard to get this on and thanks to both rugby clubs having sensible discussions and outcomes. Possible season ticket holders used for test games, home draw for FA cup would be great . No it wouldn't we've never won a single cup t...

Think it was Bolton rather than Everton. It was bloody freezing the day of that York game. And a bird hit my car radiator on the a66 and got wedged in. I only found it when I pulled up at sainsburys in darlo. Useful detail for you there. It was freezing that day hope it wasn't a penguin you hit lol😁

Fylde away. As tinpot and shite as a first fixture of the season can possibly be. And we'll no doubt get tanked 4-1. Good to see you taking a positive view of things. Most of us will just be happy to be playing again. I agree with Ghost, fixtures are shite. However I will feel different once we com...

Re: Arena it is
I can't say I'm enthused by it at all. As long as it is only temporary. I'll be quite honest, I'll not be traveling back to go and watch us play there. Hopefully, it's a short enough stay and it doesn't affect me. I'm not convinced traveling three hours for a football match is terribly advisable un...

Think Fat Josh is best ignored. Clearly he is either a troll an ex fan with a grudge or someone with mental health issues or a combination of all of them. Either way best to leave him to his rantings while the rest of us try to have a sensible debate. I wonder if fat Josh could be a rugby club memb...

Re: impact on ground capacity
The national League seem to be dragging their heels in making a decision regarding our request to play at the arena. I am starting to wonder if they know something we don't and maybe the government are actually going to allow increased capacity in non league grounds from the beginning of October. We...

There are quite a few football league chairmen that are demanding supporters are let back into stadiums including those at Charlton athletic and Peterborough United I still think myself that something is going to give soon.

Nice gesture from Radcliffe Borough to allow AFC Bury to groundshare and hope this will help kickstart the phoenix club. Best of luck to both teams for next season, whenever that may start. They need to hopefully part company with the eccentric Steve dale a.s.a.p and hopefully the phoenix club can ...

I believe what is happening proves we also need paying fans back into stadiums as soon as possible. Regardless of this pandemic we are going to have to learn to fight back if this means wearing face coverings for the foreseeable future so be it. But if we continue the way we are now they might not b...

Re: National league north line up confirmed
NLN line up gets stronger and stronger each season. Was hoping to lose Brackley to NLS, but no such luck. I agree, it's harder to guess who might struggle than those who could do well. I tip Blyth Spartans, Curzon Ashton and Kettering town to struggle I can also see the owner of Arc Fylde get tired...

Slightly off topic I know but just been rumaging through my programme collection and speaking of October 3rd it was on this date in 1978 42 years ago Darlington FC had a magical night out at goodison park to play Everton in a league cup 3rd round game.
