Re: Promotion Special Programme - Released this weekend

As a matter of interest, of the 700 who invested £100, subsequently fully refunded following everything going tits up, how much of that £70k was re-invested?

I only ask as I was one who didnt re-invest and wondered if I was in the minority.

Re: FA to release league set-ups tonight

Scarborough being put in the south is total madness, they are further north (even playing at Brid) than most of the other teams in D1N. Can't see their fans being happy about that - why not take one of the central based or south Manchester / Merseyside clubs out?

Re: 11 points and counting

Things would have been different if we had won. the side might not have broken up, and even after george was led away in handcuffs, we would have been a different prospect for investors at that point. i must confess that my lip was wobbling at the end... No it wouldnt have been different. George ha...

Re: Chester v Wrexham next season

Northallerton Town got the "Town" back a few years after they went bust in '94. They might have been called Northallerton FC 1994 or similar for 3 or 4 years until they got the Town back. Has it got something to do with trading name laws and insolvency that prevents the name being re-used immediately?

I was a few rungs up the floodlight pylon at the Tin Shed end - got there are 2 and couldnt get into the main part of the shed. Was gutted, cos my Dad (football hater) wouldnt let me go on the pitch or stay for the trophy, had to listen to it all on the radio. they were still celebrating when we got...

Re: Evo-Stik Div 1 North 11/12

Late 90's we had great support as did we in the early 90's however I can remember a lot more games where we had tremendous support away from home, I don't expect anything like the followings we had in playoff seasons but we have a good hardcore following that will get behind the lads, I reckon we w...

Actually staggering. I could not hate this league anymore. This.....x 2 If we have been shafted I think a 100% blanket ban on away games could be our only form of protest. That was my initial thought, HOWEVER, I'm also mindful of the fantastic reception we have received from a vast majority of club...

Scunny away when we lost 7-1, the song directed at Paul Allcock which asked him the direct question as to why he was such a lady part. Aye, Jamm's finest hour - though I pointed out who ref was, he did the rest  Great craic that day at Scunny, similarly at Scarborough when Eddie Wolsteholme wa...

Get the 2227 from Darlo on Wednesday night, change at York and get into Manc 0044.

You can get back to Darlo easy enough in well under an hour
