Re: BBC article - spot the errors
I think the bloke who writes these articles, littered with all this crap, is called Matt Newsum. Having had a bit of a dig around, he's the only online sports writer the BBC have in the North East that I can find. I'm guessing he's based in Newcastle and won't have a clue about the non league.

Fulham have just signed another keeper, meaning Stockdale is likely to leave, albeit on loan. He's supposedly interested in joining Swansea too.

Chris Moore is a victory for football. What happened to bedaledarlo? His posts were funny. Probably not what he intended though. Moore-I thought he was a decent player. But we can do better. Good luck to him though. If he signs for Gateshead (does anyone else find the nickname Heed ridiculous...

Re: How many Season tickest have you sold?
This is not a comparative question in terms of relative to Pools etc, just wondering if you have sold more than last year and if the FA Vase win has generated extra interest? Didn't Raj want 2,000 shifted to carry on?--is that still his position or is he ok with less/or wants more? The Wembley win ...

Darlogramps you put the thick in 'thick c***' , and the c*** too for that matter. shut up, you daft old c***. all the wishing in the world on your part won't cause pools to go tits up. no-one's boasting about our owners, crowds or anything, most of us have been around long enough to fight shy of that, but if i see a load of utter bollocks written about what is essentially a dece...

Re: Darlington player caught the eye of a Prem club.
To be honest, the way some people reacted to him on here was quite frankly embarrassing. Expecting the world out of a player who has come through the youth system of a non league club is ridiculous. Smith showed last season that he has the capability to play in the 1st team, albeit he didn't demonst...

Re: Tadgh Purcell
Must admit I didn't see that one coming. I thought now we had Rundle, we'd be finished looking for forwards (I know Rundle isn't an out and out forward, but it looks like he'll be used on the left of a front 3, if and when he plays). But a front 3 of Purcell, Hatch and Walshaw, with Campbell, Rundle...

Before I slag him off I wil lsay I think Cooper seems like a manager who knows what he is doing at this level and has assembled you a good non-league level squad who I think will be top 5 this year...BUT when will he stop twisting about other teams budgets and missing out on players, he was at it a...

Re: "Well within budget"
Thats the refreshing thing about this close season, there's been a real emphasis on quality. I'm delighted with the 4 signings we have made, and with only a goalkeeper and possibly a midfielder to look for we can maybe sit back and not panic ourselves with trying rebuild an entire squad, as we've ha...

He's just bored as the Chimp Chokers aren't signing anyone else, so he has to come on here to look at our rumours instead. Really? Strange one that. Lowe scored nearly 30 goals in League 2 last season. He must be in a row over his contract. Even if he did leave Bury, I can't see him dropping to non league level, there'd by a whole host of league clubs who'd chase him.divas wrote:Apparently they have bid for Ryan Lowe of Bury...

Not a bad first 6 games. Braintree is just about the perfect 1st day fixture and if there's any time to play a Fleetwood side thrown together, its right at the start of the season. With Tamworth and Grimsby away and Alfreton and Lincoln at home in the 1st 6 games, thats not a bad start at all. Good...
