Rangers to join the Blue Square Conference?

Post by MikeinBlack » Tue Jan 15, 2013 6:02 pm

See attached. A big fat cash cow for the hard up teams in the division if it did ever happen, not to mention a logistical nightmare if 10.000+ 'Gers fans came calling to somewhere like Forest Green lol.

So, due to financial failings we have to suffer the consequences and a drop to the Northern League, but a Scottish football club with similar financial misgivings get to find a flimsy excuse to potentially be welcomed into the Conference and worm their weedly way into English Football.

Surely theyd have to start at level 9....

They should start at level 5. I'm sure Mike Amos would welcome them with open arms.

The Northern League is in a perfect position to be able to cope with Rangers and the influx of fans they will bring...

I am sure the FA, SFA, UEFA and FIFA would try to block any Rangers move to the English system before it ever became a reality

His share is useless now unless they want to be called Darlington Football Club - it won't allow them to join the league any higher.
