Southampton go "bonkers in the nut"

Re: Southampton go "bonkers in the nut"
Yep, crazy decision.
Consecutive promotions and had them on course to survive this season after a slow start. Perhaps spending £20million on Gaston Ramires and Jay Rodriguez wasn't the best bit of business, but you'd have to say that finishing 17th this season would be a success.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

They've also appointed his successor already, which obviously means this has been planned for some time. As Spyman has pointed out, he did seem to struggle to adapt to the Premier League in his first few months, but from what I've seen of them lately they seem to have turned the corner.

Well it might just be important if this goes to an employment tribunal.Speaking through an interpreter, Pochettino said: "I know about the squad because I've been researching them for several weeks.
"It's not important when I was approached about the job, I'm just very excited to be here."

He'll probably go back to Scunthorpe and win the premier league in 5 years time.
Waiting for Raj to shaft them!

Ridiculous decision. What do clubs expect when they get promoted. Staying up is the game and Adkins was doing ok. I now hope Southampton get relegated.

He really has been given a rough one there.

The old managerial merry-go-round just gets more mental every season, doesn't it?
There's always been managers who've been shown the door because their face didn't fit, but you usually used to get the boot as a result of poor results, the team underperforming etc., not because you didn't have them playing the right 'brand' of football for example.
Maybe I've just got selective memory, but either way you don't generally sack someone if they're doing their job well, I thought.

Re: Southampton go "bonkers in the nut"
Apparently the Southampton supporters are planning a Spanish style protest at their game tonight. Now, as much as I can sympathise with their supporters, I can't see how this is going to benefit the team, especially when they need to fight for every point that they can between now and the end of the season.
