Name five players that have played for at least four European Cup / Champions League winning teams but never won the trophy themselves

Re: Summer Trivia - July
Now that is a tough one.
I could only come up with two names (and I'm not very confident on one of them)

Re: Summer Trivia - July
absolute guesses every single one of them.
Basically trying to guess players who had played for the big clubs and potentially moved on either side of the seasons when I know they won something!

Re: Summer Trivia - July
Confident on 5/5 through luck more than anything else, colleague at work asked this last week after having it as a quiz question!
Re: Summer Trivia - July
I've got 3 that I'm damn near sure about. Can't even guess at the others, as every player I can think of who has played for a number of big clubs, has won the Champions League, from memory.
I suppose the reference to the European Cup means that there might be some 'older' players, or clubs that were big many years ago but not so much now.

ah man. Just realised I read European Cup as being the UEFA Cup. Not sure if that makes a difference to one of my guesses though :S

My first thought on this was Clarence Seedorf, but then quickly realised that dude has won it at just about every club he has been at

Days eight and nine
I missed yesterday so I'll ask two questions for today. OCD and all that...
Name four players to have played for both Liverpool and Everton in the Premier League?
Which five Ballon d'Or winners have played in the Premier League?

Good question mate
Got 16 I am confident about, and another two I ain't sure about because of foreign naming conventions

Found them they were the two days on a note on my phone. Did them on the train back from Edinburgh n mustn't have sent it! Still in last place even if they are all right!
Re: Summer Trivia - July
I have 16, but my haste in answering so far is obviously costing me against those taking their time, so I'm going to give this some thought.

Day Eleven
Whilst Wembley was being re-developed, England played matches at fourteen domestic grounds around the country. Name as many as you can.

I am confident on 12, 1 I am not sure and another that hosted an England B game, I assume this question is only counting full internationals though
Re: Summer Trivia - July
When you say 'around the country', do you mean England?

If it is the stadium I am thinking about, I don't think we played there, not for a home game anyway, although we may have visited there in a Qualifierlo36789 wrote:Did we play in the stadium you are referring to? Apologies, I totally forgot about this. I've marked the answers up to date and Stu took the title from Spyman, so we ended up with a new winner.
Thanks to all those that managed to take part also.
