Smoggies sacking
Tony Mowbray's three-year reign comes to an end after the Championship club's poor start to the season.
Re: Smoggies sacking
Another manager bites the dust at Boro, doubt they will get to the Premiership for a very long time if ever.
Mowbury was given a raw deal expected to cut a huge wage bill inherited from Strachan then pick up scraps from the lower leagues.
Carlisle, Boro derby next season.

More money to pay out by Gibson, to pay off an ex-manager.
Re: Smoggies sacking
This is relevant to Darlo how exactly?

In this area I only support Darlo, the worse other teams do in the region is fine by me.

Re: Smoggies sacking
sad to see tony mowbray leave he is a boro legend, and a very decent man it just did not work out for him.
darlo fans should never forget the help mfc and tony has given the club over the years, loaning players and raising money via pre-season friendlies.
lets hope darlo and boro can both have success this season.

Boro helping us?
We helped ourselves, Boro friendlies have been the norm for ages now, plus the loan signings of Kennedy, Wheater etc were actually doing both clubs a favour.

Mixed feelings about this. Loved Mogga, always thought Cur Alex bought the wrong one when he took Pallister, but have no sympathy for Borer. Hope they're in League 1 next season.
