WOW, check out these grants !
Paul Thorogood, Chief Executive of the Football Foundation, added: "I am delighted that a Football Foundation grant of £500,000, alongside a £150,000 grant from our partner organisation the Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF), will enable FC United of Manchester to build fantastic new facilities for the club and for the community."

Re: FCUM's new ground
I believe they had to raise a fair bit of cash to put towards it
Re: FCUM's new ground
The initial article says £2million in local community investment, we have bigger attendances than FCUM so they must be doing something right in the community because I couldn't see us getting that from a share scheme.Stu_1 wrote:I believe they had to raise a fair bit of cash to put towards it
Their development websites suggests £210,000 has been raised in terms of fundraising, with a goal of £500k.
Either way they seem to have got a couple of million out of the Council or from another source? Assuming that's what the difference is.

Might be wrong I was under the impression they had dropped to c. 1,200 at home. Not sure why I thought that mind!

Not quite dropped that far yet, however they do seem to be on an alarming slide!lo36789 wrote:Might be wrong I was under the impression they had dropped to c. 1,200 at home. Not sure why I thought that mind!
