Zoopla - West Brom Sponsorship

Post by lo36789 » Mon Jan 20, 2014 3:30 pm

Just saw the news that their sponsorship deal has ended. I assume they will be refunded by the Baggies in some way?

I wonder if off the back of it, and keep the news bandwagon moving they could jump on a new sponsorship deal, with us to help us find a new home ;)

Fits quite nicely for Zoopla surely!?

Deal ends at end of the season. Zoopla won't renew deal due to the Anelka incident.

Oh right I just saw the headline on the news. Thought it was just being pulled, could have been a marketing masterpiece!

Anelka

It almost seems like he didn't realise the implications of his stupid hand gesture.

It almost seems like he didn't realise that Zoopla is owned by a Jewish business man.

It almost seems like he doesn't give a chuff about anyone but himself.

Zoopla are that shocked they've decided to let their sponsorship run.

What next? The utility companies will hike prices again?

A nothing story!

Yep, Zoopla are so upset, they are allowing deal to run to its natural end and milking publicity by claiming they are ending a deal that would expire anyway.

Nothing more than publicity seeking by Zoopla

Spot on!

Before today I had no idea who sponsored WBA, I do now.

Yep, good move by zoopla. With Anelka raising their profile like this, they should consider a new deal!

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Anelka terminates his contract with immediate effect, saying that he's been asked to do something unacceptable by WBA ! Probably something like turn up for training or act like a normal person.

This (to me) is good news as it means he will be gone.

Apologise and pay a fine.

Good riddance to him.

Can't believe some of the thick c**** on here saying Zoopla have acted in anyway other than how you'd expect them to. Why should they continue sponsoring a team with an anti Semite amongst them, but why should they lose out on the sponsorship they've already paid for this season because of the bigot?

At the start of all this Zoopla wanted WBA to side line Anelka until the F.A were done with their investigation and possible sanctions. WBA wouldn't do this, so they effectively put Anelka before their main sponsor, who are, let's not forget owned by a Jewish business man.

Zoopla then pull the plug on any new deal, but Anelka repays WBA by not even beginning to consider their "unacceptable" conditions, which ( as Big Dawg says ) turn out to be to apologise and pay a fine, wow -big deal, bearing in mind this whole pathetic incident was caused entirely by Anelka's selfish stupidity. His antics give footballers a bad name.

P.S, I don't like him.
