Celtic Nation sold
Celtic Nation sold
In one of the most surprising and unexpected incidences in recent years, Frank Lynch has pulled out of Celtic Nation - who saw that coming eh? Not me...
Anyway, he's sold it to former chairman Steve Skinner, who was co-founder of the club, and who played for them.
The manager has obviously left, and no doubt there will be an exodus of the highly paid players, which the club I imagine will no longer be able to afford as they will now have to cut their cloth accordingly.

What was that winger called that they gave a new contract to? Suppose with Mitchell destined to join us it isn't that desperate!

That's the one. Confirmation on Twitter that he has left CN.

Surely we'll be after him again?
Re: Celtic Nation sold
Not at a grand a week we won't! He was only there for the money and could play higher up for more than what we can offer.AndyPark wrote:Surely we'll be after him again?
Re: Celtic Nation sold
I was thinking that. Do we know whether CN was his full time job or not? Carlisle/SPL/Scottish Championship maybe!?

Hinckley have done very well to get such a big company on board
FORZA DARLO
Re: Celtic Nation sold
Interesting. It is a bit of a sign of the times. There is a lot of skepticism around big companies (Tax affairs - Vodafone/Starbucks/Costa etc. The whole capitalism sit ins and the trigger for it all the banking crisis, even parliament so to speak). It is all about getting back to your roots and local interests in the communities the company is in - it is great PR.
The cost will be negligible to a company this size. It's a great deal for Hinckley though think of all those local people working in he distribution centre who now know they exist!
