Have been away and just seen this story in full.

I never liked the idea, there is something about a host country and the bringing people together that makes these things special. But as its happening you have to accept it, however there are some very funny places Ferenc Puskas Stadium will need a total overhaul, whilst i'm guessing the stadium in Baku is just being built as will a fair few hotels need to be to accommodate any fans visiting plus a look at the visa issue.

Be interesting to see how teams are split and where they end up playing. Is the plan to host group games in similar locations (western europe ect) or just throw teams around randomly?

It really just seems a terrible idea for all involved (with the possible exception of those that have received favors for votes ect).
