Re: Hereford
Those are the sorts of crowds we would have kicked off in front of at first in the Northern League, had we managed to somehow stay in town.
And those are the sorts of crowds we'd get at first, back in town - subject to capacity.
I'm slightly jealous.
Hereford are a very, very similar sized club to us.

Re: Hereford
I'll always remember my last visit there, when we beat them in the play-off semi-final first leg, after going 1-0 down early in the game. There was a looping header, a bit like Gary Coatsworth's at Welling, it seemed like for ever to go in.

Re: Hereford
Was Gregan with the header, his only one of the season and it was a very very good goal. Blake got the second with a tidy finish as well if i recall.Darlo_Pete wrote:I'll always remember my last visit there, when we beat them in the play-off semi-final first leg, after going 1-0 down early in the game. I was there for that game too. The days before mobile phones. The shitehawks at work phoned in for lieu days for play off final before I'd even got out of the ground. Wankers.
Good day though. Six off us in a Renault megane.

Re: Hereford
I remember the second leg at Darlo, which was on the following Tuesday and the BBC had a live camera crew on high row. They asked this bloke walking along, who he thought would win and he sheepishly said Hereford as he opened his coat and revealed a hereford shirt. I don't think the reporter was expecting that.
