61 applications for promotion from step 5 clubs. Only one of those (Bishop Auckland) is from the Northern League.
Fair play to Bishop (although I suspect the next Northern League club to go up will be South Shields in a season or two).
But the lack of clubs wanting to go up from the Northern League is a poor state of affairs.
