Sunderland have 3 possibles and 2 improbables
Which is Sunderland's certainty?

Villa away isn't a certainty for Newcastle (who've lost 9 away games in a row).

As awful as Villa are, Newcastle have been just as bad away from home.

If Newcastle cannot beat villa when they need to win then that is curtains for them. I would fancy our chances of getting something against Villa if we played em tomorrow.

There isn't one Pete, but you saw that and your playing dumb again.

There are no certainties, particularly at this point in the season. If I had to put money on it, I'd say Sunderland will stay up despite the run-in. All 3 of their home games look winnable. I'd put Stoke away as the hardest game they have left although Stoke have little to play for.

For Newcastle I'd fancy them to have the best chances against Palace and Villa.

I'm surprised you think that Stoke will be a harder game than Arsenal who still need to win to get in the Champions League.

Chelsea perhaps another matter, I have jotted it down as an improbable based on who they are as opposed to how they are playing.

You never know if Leicester win the next couple then Tottenham at home could be a nothing game for Spurs.

Sorry I meant Newcastle certainty, I'd think Villa will be up for that game and they'll want to sign off their home campaign with a win.

Villa have been trying to win games all season, problem is they are an absolute shambles of a side. As I say if Newcastle cannot win that game then I will completely agree that they will go down, and will absolutely deserve it.

They have only beaten Palace, Norwich and Bournemouth this season so far. Palace are 5th bottom, Norwich 4th bottom and Bournemouth was all the way back at the opening day of the season.

If Newcastle do lose they are down which will mean 50% of the teams Villa beat this season will have been relegated with them.

Didn't help them on Sunday.

I'm aware of the Stoke score last night.

I was talking about Arsenal and them having something to play for.

Looks like it's curtains for Newcastle and Norwich, as Sunderland are beating Everton 2-0.

The toon is down, I bet Newcastle city centre won't be a happy place tonight, especially as Sunderland their deadly enemy sends them down.

Newcastle & Norwich are relegated to the Championship.
